So finally Sandhya proved the allegations against her correct - she does not love Suraj but worse, she doesn't consider him worthy of herself! She does not look at Suraj as an equal. Instead, she is not sure if she will ever be able to accept a halwayi as her husband!!
I really felt bad for Suraj. He doesn't deserve a woman who is not sure if she will ever be able to accept him as her husband.
I know that Sandhya was cheated too and I agree that she has made sacrifices and is trying her level best to love that family and to be the ideal daughter-in-law. But is that enough? NO!!!! Even if she becomes the best DIL and SIL in that house, what is her most important relationship in that house? - the one with her HUSBAND, the one she has totally turned a blind eye to!
All the sacrifices Sandhya has made so far were driven by her love for her parents, driven by the desire to not let Bhabho or others point a finger at her parents and their upbringing. But where is Suraj in all of this? And if she can't accept him, why ruin his life?
I know we have all been hating Bhabho and I agree Bhabho's ways are crude. But she was right when she said that Sandhya hasn't accepted Suraj and that if somebody had shown this much devotion to God, even God would have come to the devotee but that Suraj's devotion didn't melt Sandhya's cold and proud heart!
I wish now that Sandhya would free Suraj of the shackles in the name of marriage. She can then go and find an MBA husband for herself and hope that he would show her even half the devotion that Suraj did!
As for Suraj, any wife he finds after this will be better than Sandhya. Because she will atleast accept him as her husband and will return his love!
