Shipra was initially my opinion an ideal Saas.. and an inspiration for so many Mother in laws for the way she was treating her daughter in law..
Natasha, The high class society's working Bahu coming and staying in her middle class Family and still she felt more happy and comfy among them and felt the love which her mother also never gave, coming from her mother in law.. she was a Daughter in law who was soo soo scared that her Mother in law and other in laws would be depressed if they come to know she aborted the baby.. and was crying a lott coz she dint want to hurt them...
The same way, shipra was not getting tired of saying My Doll, Beta etc etc and so many such names to her daughter in law, so much so that at some points it irritated and angered her daughter to be felt as given lesser importance than Nuts..
Natasha's one outburst - on the day of going to friend's b'day party - was enough to turn them off.. so much that the same Shipra who was running behind nuts with Food, Love, Pride and Care - started taunting her on every single thing, including her working too.. She was the one who had no problem with Nuts working or she was the one who always understood the pressure of her work.. And suddenyl from one fine day on, she started feeling that Nuts just wants to work and not care if there is a family or not etc and forcing her to go to a party.. if it was a big exam of any of their childre, wud they have forced them to go to the party?.. no.. then why her...
If Ayesha or Priya or Kartik wud have outbursted one day - wud they have treated them the same way - not forgetting the incidence and taunting them till they get super frustrated etc...
Shipra could have really become an ideal Mother in law and an inspiration for many viewers (Mother in laws) of how they can nicely take care of their working daughter in laws.. I used to love her character for that.. I thought BALH is spreading a good message by showing such a good MIL..
But thanks to Creative mind of creatives they Proved to all the Daughter in laws --- the thing they always believed --
" A mother in law will always remain a mother in law.. she can never never become your mother"
