I've been a rather silent audience on the IPKKND forum and have enjoyed the discussions as much as watching the serial itself!
Although the episode really got me getting out of my silent mode and getting out here and sharing what I thought too. I do sincerely I hope I am not repeating what already someone has posted what with such wonderful analysis that we get to see on the forum of some of the most enjoyable episodes!
The dance and the flirting of ASR has definitely set many a heart aflutter and I wouldn't deny that I was very pleasantly surprised and very pleased with the way things are shaping up, but it was the 25th Jan episode that got me really sure about what I noticed in the 24th Jan episode! Ha Ha!
Well after the dance, ASR in the room did flirt with Khushi, no doubt there, but I guess, what screamed out to me, was that until now or recently, all the while when she had her dhak dhaks and odd fumbling in front of him while she had heart going dhak dhak, ASR thought it was crazy or he just looked plain puzzled at her fumbling, but it was perhaps the dance, for he was so in tune with her and what she felt that it became just so clear what he felt himself and that got him really realizing and the events leading to it that his heart races just as bad and he realized the effect he has on her too of being able to affect her so; isn't that what all of us crave deep deep down? To matter to someone so much that whatever we do affects them ( in a nice way, certainly!) just us being there in their lives and I think ASR has finally realized that, him just being there, affects Khushi so and he loves the fact that he matters so to someone and who would want to let that go? Not even ASR. Using his charm to get things done, I would put it past HIM. It's not ASR - He is too practical and sensible a chap to resort to something like that, but now we do see him amused by the fact that his charm works or perhaps he is more aware of his own charm now and this whole little exchange of silent moments and glances at each other is that phase for ASR where he is amused at what can do to Khushi jus tbeing himself!
Tu hamesha peeche kyon jaati ho? And that little mmmain stammer imitating Khushi, he had begun to notice things so keenly every minute detail and he realized it that he was noticing, but what really hits and screams out loud and jumps out at you or rather us, is that the Hi was deliberate he was just as surprised to see her, but he recovers quickly (notice that little background music that says it was a surprise to both of them) and he momentarily looks surprised but he pulls himself together and then hi is so deliberate , delivered to have the desired effect and he is pleased to she stammers again, fumbles a Namaste - the smirk says it all. He is confirming and re-confirming to himself that she indeed gets affected really bad when he is around and when he is much more , lets say softer in his behavior with her! It catches her off guard!
The hi has been analyzed and decoded much too many times and I agree with it all - lovely analysis there by the members! J But for me what followed was what brought a awww smile! He watches her she walks like a scared puppy away from him, ready to break into a run, when he calls her softly Khushi, she stops dead - so unlike her, when he screams her name khushi ; he is always irritated that she walks away when he is calling her- kitni baar bola hai don't walk away when I am talking to you- and if he screams she runs, but this time, he is different, he calls her softly and she stops dead in her tracks! She dreads it, but she can't help - he knows he's got the right nerve, his interpretations reaffirmed with every action of hers and he is pleased, very pleased, the smirk doesn't go off his face. He comes to her, he knows, she is too stunned to move, she wouldn't be able to, he is sure of it. The smirk still lingers, he holds her hand, she is too stunned, confused and isn't able to react- she is still trying to search for ASR in this new person and he lets the smirk off his face, he has an little idea, he can't help but laugh at it, but stops himself, look at him purse his lips - he says I know what you are thinking - she seems now paralyzed with this new surprise - he is unable to contain himself, the idea of it is getting the better of him and he tries hard and says oftly ye meri baat repeat karna band karo - he is noticing so much and he is so comfortable with it, he has accepted it and then he says exactly the thing that he knows will make her get back into her mould - KKG mould! Main shart ki baat kar raha hoon and bang his KKG is back, that young girl that can give him back and stand up to him is back! He loves it, absolutely loves it how she can be so many things with him, a scared , coy girl and again that little sherni, that can stand up to him! Even his dhamki about the shart is so feeble and deliberate - he doesnt intend to scare her, he just wants to see her retort as her usual self, the music says it all, its no ASR it is Arnav playing a prank and then she blurts out, kabhi kabhi aap hamein itna pareshaan karte hai ki hum devi maiyya se prartna karte hai ki aap hame dikhe na (or something to the effect) and there goes her confession, just what he wanted to hear! He affects her, and like so! He had his answer! He is amused and he watches her but doesn't snap or retort. He just wanted his little sherni back and she was back. He had made her fumble and all wound up, alright, but he just wanted his sherni back and there she was and he knew only he could get her back into the mould!
