Hey thanks, Madhu...LOL Mohan's lingo is too addictive...I think we're all getting quite obsessed with it...haha

Yeah, the graph of MM scenes is going nicely so far *touchwood* Pallo (pigbelly4myfeet) described it very well in her post.

--------------------------------

Something just struck me again about the Holika Dehen scene...the symbolism is almost spooky...I'm wondering if the writers really added in all this nuance or is my imagination running wild...the symbolism of Mohan going in the wrong direction for the parikrama and meeting Megha in the way...who tells him he's going in the wrong direction...kisi ne bataya nahin? I felt it tied in with the general way Mohan was going in life until he met Megha...more closely related to the way he went about the Amar case...kisi ne bataya nahin? And Mohan shakes his head oh so innocently...lol...cute baccha lag raha tha wahaan pe...Megha gives him a look and walks past him...again he's about to walk in the wrong direction when he pauses, then turns and follows her...that moment seemed all the more deep to me when I watched the scene again...she literally became the guiding light for him there...showing him the right path...so wonderfully written by the writers I have to say...without going into jingoistic lecturing mode with heavy duty dialogues, they conveyed the depth of the story, of the bond building b/w these characters...foreshadowing what is to come in the larger scheme of things.

It continues on...even as they add in light moments like Mohan's...'mera bhi...same to same'...underneath all that was a lot of depth in this scene...of how Mohan and Megha's lives are intertwining and the effect they've started to have on each other...in this case especially for Mohan...he's finally met the woman who will be his guiding light in life.

^Wonderfully put Nur!..this seems like the best interpretation of the entire sequence..👍🏼..she is becoming his guiding light yes..and it's shown really well, he's inspired by her thoughts, her strength and determination in life...he is really looking up to her in a lot of ways.

Thanks, Maz :-)

I love how they show him admiring her for her CHARACTER...yes he is also irritated by her😆...but he admires her strength and determination in the face of all odds...twice he's said he feels like saluting her for it...and with this Koyal revelation, I think his admiration for Megha will increase more than ever along with all the guilt he's feeling.

I like how she's becoming his guiding light on a subconscious level without either of them realizing it...that is why the symbolism was so lovely in that scene yesterday.

Couldn't have said it any better, Anu. 😃
WORD on her being his "Guiding light" ...on a subconscious level. He might joke around and irk her with his comments and such but most of all he respects her for who she is and how she is as well as appreciate her efforts. There is a sort of underlying mutual equilibrium between the two even with all their little banters and one-ups.😆

Oooh I like that phrase you used even more..."underlying mutual equilibrium"...perfectly put!👏...it's a pretty interesting back and forth that finds it's own balance somewhere...
