Yeah, the graph of MM scenes is going nicely so far *touchwood* Pallo (pigbelly4myfeet) described it very well in her post.

Something just struck me again about the Holika Dehen scene...the symbolism is almost spooky...I'm wondering if the writers really added in all this nuance or is my imagination running wild...the symbolism of Mohan going in the wrong direction for the parikrama and meeting Megha in the way...who tells him he's going in the wrong direction...kisi ne bataya nahin? I felt it tied in with the general way Mohan was going in life until he met Megha...more closely related to the way he went about the Amar case...kisi ne bataya nahin? And Mohan shakes his head oh so innocently...lol...cute baccha lag raha tha wahaan pe...Megha gives him a look and walks past him...again he's about to walk in the wrong direction when he pauses, then turns and follows her...that moment seemed all the more deep to me when I watched the scene again...she literally became the guiding light for him there...showing him the right path...so wonderfully written by the writers I have to say...without going into jingoistic lecturing mode with heavy duty dialogues, they conveyed the depth of the story, of the bond building b/w these characters...foreshadowing what is to come in the larger scheme of things.
It continues on...even as they add in light moments like Mohan's...'mera bhi...same to same'...underneath all that was a lot of depth in this scene...of how Mohan and Megha's lives are intertwining and the effect they've started to have on each other...in this case especially for Mohan...he's finally met the woman who will be his guiding light in life.
