is Mona the perfect wife???????

First of all I am in no way justifying pradeep is rite, the guy is a scum bag and needs to get out of Mona's life period especially if he slept with anushka and treats his wife like that

Mona did want to tell Pradeep about the PSP, I remember she was about to tell him but then Pradeep kept nagging her that she wants to just talk about kids her inlaws yeh who hum dono ko kab muka milega to talk bout US...

So she did attempt to tell him Mona has always done it , infact I feel she is doing too much too much for teh FAMILY , while the husband is just not bothered...

Mona is a too PERFECT WIFE, here while pradeep needs too much attention and he acts like a 3 year old most of the times begging for attention instead of understanding both sides he wants his way always

A 1/2 hour proper conversation between a couple can be made well with first 15 minutes about whats happening and later with ONLY both of them

Whenever Mona starts to talk about Family first he nags her that she always talks about that which I beleieve after a certain time takes importance, the ONLY We can fall in place when both frame of mind is peaceful and by peaceful I don't mean 100% but atleast 80% of the worries can be flushed out when both partners can come to some conclusion dealing with family matters the remaining 20% can be a great impact between the "US " tag which Pradeep wants only when both He and Mona are at peace of mind...

There is a lot of difference, you can not "generalize" that both are hiding truth from each other.

Mona seems to be always hesitant about sharing things with Pradeep, be it the chit fund or the fake coin. I remember when Pradeep went this bar with his friends and a girl approached him, he immediately called her up and confessed the truth! He was not once worried about the consequences. But if it was Mona in his shoes, then first of she will go confess to her mother-in-law and together they will find a new lie to tell Pradeep.

She had enough opportunities to confess the truth about the fake coin and maybe together with Pradeep they could get a different gift for the wedding! I was more surprised when she asked her daughter to hide the truth, as a parent she should give the lesson that you should never lie or hide from your parents. No matter how serious the matter is, parents do understand their children and they forgive them wholeheartedly! I don't understand why Pradeep wouldn't do the same after scolding Bulbul for few minutes. He really does love those kids!

Mona wants to give false hopes to Pradeep that he had been a successful father, that he is their hero. Why keep lying? She should be upfront about these things to him.

As of Pradeep, he would only assume that if Mona can lie repeatedly to him and hide things then he can do the same to her! He would probably keep hiding the truth from Mona and start distancing him from her.

In this situation, I believe both of them are to be blamed. Lack of trust between couples can only lead to separation and misunderstandings.

I don't think that mona is a perfect wife but no one is perfect. I think that they are showing somewhat real character. It happens that wife really get along with her in-laws. She consider them as her parents, so as you support your parents and always caare about their respect, so does she. when we expect her to be more caring towards her husband, we're not expecting the real character. She is the way she is and she is a nice person but someone needs to tell her that guys won't understand her care for in-laws. they just want their attention. pradeep should love her for what she is. It's not that she doesn't love pradeep or care about him. She can do that because she believes that he'll understand her but unfortunately he won't .

I agree ,Mona has made mistakes but they are that , I mean "mistakes" , nowhere near Pradeep's sin -- esp if he continues with his EMA keeping Mona in the dark, then its awfulll. Infcat Mona is trying hard to keep everyone happy but this Pradddep always is behaving like a 3-yr old seeking attention. He complains to Mona that he comes last in her list , oh cmon Pradeep , dont sulk , open ur eyes and see how blessed u r, infcat bcoz of Mona, his tension is less, she is always there for her in-laws and takes responsibility , otherwise Pradeep def coulndt have managed at all.

Mona, according to me, is not a good wife..

Mona is not an ideal wife; she SHOULD not be one, in any case: TV is already chock-full of suffering wives who take pride in their masochism.

Coming to whether she was justified in hiding things from Pradeep: Pradeep already has a major inferiority complex about not being able to provide his children with the comforts of life. He has said this many times--"humne Bulbul ko waqt se pehle bada kar diya hai." So she is right in assuming that Bulbul's act of stealing would make him feel terrible about himself as a father. All the same, she did try to tell him but he was not in the mood to listen.


But as far as the coin incident was concerned, it was definitely wrong on her part to use the artificial coin...in fact, it was stupid of her MIL to suggest it in the first place. It would have been better had she told him the entire truth. He probably would have managed to scare up the money from somewhere.

I somehow feel she hasnt been a gud wife. she is a caring mom and DIL but then she forgot she is a wife too and that took a back seat
