All those leaves Khushi is mashing will do is cure indigestion! Mint isn't used to make thandai (the drink version of bhaang), they use ghee and sugar instead.

Do CVs have to show close-ups of the leaves? 😆

@bold:It worked,didnt it???

Well, anything to get them to un-constipate---bring on the Mint, I guess!

Ok so I really did not know what bhang was made out of...education via ipk and Neemsudari...technically I dont think they can show ghanja on telly...ha ha so they thought they would funk thier way thru did not realised they would have such 'educated' audience !!!!!!!!!
now thandai is a drink I guess and it has a non bhangified version...what would that be...

Aisa hi tha then they should have called us---in my mum's household, we always had fresh cannabis handy during Holi. The cook grew it in his backyard!!😆

What I can't understand is Bhaang in a no-alcohol house. Well the CVs ran out of ideas to make Arhi confess I guess...

Thandai during shivratri is generally bhang-free. The drink is usually thickened, creamy, milk with sugar and peppercorns and saffron---and various powdered spices like fennel, caradamom, khus khus. Our cook used to make this by running the mixture of milk and the other dry powdered ingredients through a sieve.

The only difference in the thandai during holi was the addition of cannabis.
