Priyanka Chopra doesn't want to play the role of a mother on-screen

Priyanka Chopra is very happy with the phenomenal success that her latest film Krrish has received, in spite of the fact that she has personally received poor reviews for her own performance in the film . Priyanka has already moved onto her other films on hand like Aap Ki Khatir and Salaam-E-Ishq. However Priyanka was also slated to do Raj Kumar Santoshi's film Halla Bol opposite Ajay Devgan. Unfortunately at the last minute Priyanka changed her mind and decided to opt out of the film as she was unsure about playing the role of a mother in the film.

Priyanka was to enact the role of a mother to a six year old child in Santoshi's film. However Priyanka was not sure if the audiences who are used to viewing her in a young and hip avatar would accept her in the role of a devoted mother. Also the film was centered pre-dominantly around Ajay's character. So Chopra thought it best to opt out of the film. Nonetheless Priyanka's loss is Vidya Balan's gain. Vidya will now be playing the female lead opposite Ajay and she is extremely happy to work with such a big filmmaker like Santoshi.

Priyanka Chopra is all set to do her second promotional video for her forthcoming film Aap Ki Khatir opposite Akshay Khanna. Priyanka has a completely new look in the film and now she will be doing her second promotional video after 'Right Here Right Now'. Priyanka was immensely appreciated when she did the promotional song for Bluffmaster and she hopes that this one too will be a success. Priyanka Chopra will also be performing her own stunts in Salaam-E-Ishq. In this film by Nikhil Advani, Priyanka has been paired opposite Salman Khan. Priyanka was not very happy with the overall look when her double had earlier done the stunts for the film and hence she personally volunteered to re-do them again.

Priyanka has a full kitty right now and in spite of several personal problems the lass is definitely giving a 100 percent to all her professional commitments.

As an actress she should be trying to be alot more versatile, she is being this fussy and turning down the opportunity to work with well established and proven directors. Will she regret it ????

i guess i can understand why she dont wanna do the role but still she shoudl try out different things though

tfs. i agree with priyanka- she can do whatever roles she wants. if she realizes she missed out thats her problem. its her choice. anyway i dont think she would look nice as a mom and vidya seems like a better choice

I think that Priyanka wud kidna old playing a mother nd Vidya wud luk much better..

she has played the role of a mother in a movie blackmail so why not now
