Since last two years, I&B ministry has been very strict regarding "adult" content in Hindi Channels like Colors,Ndtv Imagine. It has reprimanded such channels in many instances , even when there weren't any "smooch" in them...For example: Rakhi Sawant 's show in ndtv was forced to shift to post 11pm slot (or 12am)...

Before this, consummation sequence in Hindi serials used to be not so vulgar , as i felt yesterday it was. Maybe so, the two actors were "over-aged".dunno...😕

TV is certainly getting bolder these days, and govt is letting media channels to "self-censor". Audience also can complain to IBF by writing to or emailing to them.

And i am sure, lots of complaints already have started being sent; going by what i am hearing from aunty-log in my society-buildings...atb, but LIPLOCK dikhake Ekta ne acchi gamble kheli hai.,apni trp badhane k liye...

No Nudity, No abuses, No bad language, No violence... no double meaning dialogues, No attempt to show nudity also . such as transparent clothing on nude body, wet clothes, NO vulgar se**ual expressions, No awkward tones or sounds , etc

It is the filming, camera angle, editing, mixing of scene with music and ambiance that makes it so exciting ...

Oh please stop being so conservative...its high time tht Indian audience grows up... There was no nudity,No actual kissing,No vulgarity just facial expression...if they censor tht also we'll end up seeing 70s style two flowers colliding 😛

So what are people complaining about...Its our job to decide wat to see and what to avoid not some ministry.

What will be use of censoring it its not tht TV is only source of entertainment...There's internet where u can see limitless vulgarity so why r we pretending to be so upright...its was nicely done n those who didnt like it dont watch it...why to stop others from watching it.

Omg...what on earth is this...lol it was just a c night of a married couple that was shown...there was NO VULGARITY...comparing it to rakhi's show ???? Excuse me!! I beg your pardon..!!!
Rakhis show was 'rakhi ka insaaf' which was vulger in TRUE sense...idiotic double meaning talks...and limitless exposing by rakhi. So that was the reason it got shifted to late nyt slot. And there was nothing as such in BALH...no exposing or no nudity...comeon yar...its high tym we all grow up.

As per I&B directive, shows which shows smooching can't be shown in prime time...and 1030 is a prime time fyi.

Consumation scenes have been shown in other hindi serials as well recently...in Parichay, Mrs Kaushik...not in a detailed fashion as this...

For god's sake, we are watching a hindi serial and not "Desperate Housewives"...

puraa episode suhagraat hi thaa.
And few episodes back, there was this "wardrobe malfunction" thing...but that's fine...

The episode was close to 29 minutes and I think Sony was smart enough since the liplock was the last scene before the precap and might very well have happened post 11.00. And tht time slot allows mature content!😃

I just explained in another comment that I think they were smart enough to show the liplock at last and the episode was looong enough to fall beyond 11. So no complaints!

Exacly why the show was made! To show that love happens after 30 .. And people do tend to consummate their marriage too.. Surprising...isn't it?

The whole bunch of people crying foul are in two categories: Jealous and hypocrites!! Since there was nothing wrong in the portrayal of a husband and wife who consummate their marriage. For a second,seeing your post.. I was wondering if they showed them having an affair or doing it with their respective spouses!! silly!
For TRP's , I would rather watch a natural progression than to show my kids watch how the new bahu gets treated like sh** on national television 5 days a week!

Really dunno whats there to complain about.. As EK herself has pointed out in some interview, that utmost care was taken not to break any rules or stipulations laid down by the I and B ministry for Indian soaps..The show adhered to the laid down norms and regulations of the watchdogs of Indian TV.

Talk abt double standards...one side they allow all sleazy shows to be shown...adultery , french kissing etc even IF site is flooded with sleazy ads ...nobody raises any hue and cry abt it...here a chaste kiss btwn a husband and wife is shown and all hell breaks loose.
