Could anybody decipher Sandhya's expressions today

Hi, I could not understand sandy's expressions today while sooraj was talking to her. I understand she is hurt. But why is she so serious with sooraj. Or am I understanding it wrongly. Poor fellow has done so much. atleast he deserves a thanks from her. she keeps telling thanks for all small things. but when time came to really thank him for his support, she doesnt. strange indeed.

Restraining from a physical relationship is harder for men as they find secure in relationship only with physical love unlike women who find security with emotional love(sandy gets this lot from suraj). So, sandy has to appreciate this guy.it is high time she shows some concern if not love atleast to make suraj feel secure.

It was really a sad episode today with suraj undergoing lot of turmoil :(

What was Sooraj doing when his mother was insulting Sandhya infront of the whole family - that too on such a sensitive issue - why didn't he ask her not to do the thamasha .

Sandhya is well justified in her behaviour towards Sooraj

sandhy complatelly shatter with bhabo behavior ..husband / wife physical relation discuss infornt of hole family that is not good ..sandhy family very different well maner and respected relations ...that why she is not responce suraj ...but i loved when sandhy give back ans bhabo she told bahbo mere mata pita ne aise sanskar nahi deya ...

To be fair to Sandhya...she was in a state of shock...and who wouldn't be after all that humiliation....I don't think she was being ignorant of Suraj's feelings on purpose...she just was in a daze.

I mean think of it...several forum members have said they feel embarassed watching the show in front of family members...she just had her biggest and most private matter spilled in front of everyone...even the male members of the family... 🤢...As far as I'm concerned I don't mind if she thanks Suraj later...the poor girl just needs to be left alone.

2 things stood out for me in today's episode...

The first was Suraj explaining to Bhabo that even animals have sex...but humans understand that there are different levels of love...thats what differentiates us from them...ouch...this whole conversation must have been so...yucky...and uncomforatble for him. 😕...I mean who discusses these things with their mother...but she left him no choice.

The second was Sandhya showing up at the pooja with a look of quiet resolve. And I just loved how she told Bhabo in so many words, that Suraj is the way he is because of her upbringing, and, that I'm not going to stoop to your level, because I wasn't brought up like that.

After reading all your comments here - I also felt that Sandhya and Suraj had gone through so much emotionally on this day and what ever way they reacted was very appropriate for the situation as they reacted in accordance to their personalities...

Loved Anas's acting today it was superb esp when Suraj was asking Sandhya if she wished to leave he can get her bro and he repeated it again and one could feel the pain Suraj was feeling in suggesting it.

Also as Sonarmeye mentioned on another thread - I would like to see the continuation of the scene where Suraj is asking Sandhya if she wished ot leave with her bro... it is important for viewers to see that response and what happened after that ... but i know that the CVS will not do it as it is assumed that she rejected that offer.

i am sorry that some of you may not like what I have to say here but like Bhabhasa said to Suraj that his thinking is truly great and mahaan but his bhabho's fears are also not wrong...

I would like to see Sandhya now understanding that she needs to consider Suraj's other needs as well bec apart from whether he has accepted their relationship as is - He is a man after all and a husband...

he has now been exposed in front of the family so shamelessly by his mother that to give Suraj the respectibility from the family and society it is important that Sandhya also understands his other needs completely. All I am saying is that just as she has made all that effort to fit in that family life and make the relationships with family members work... she needs to think from Suraj's point of view as a man and a husband...

Actually I was noticing Sandhya's expressions yesterday. She was really angry. Suraj unlike Sandhya can control his emotion. He does not let his anger flow to the surface. I have hardly seen him getting angry. I like Sandhya's anger though. Its natural and was justified.

When we are angry we hardly ever are practical and then, we show this more to people whom we are closer to. So thats why Suraj gets to see Sandhya's anger. But yesterday, for the first time she took on Bhabho too and rightly!

Thank you for making this post..I am seriously pissed with Sandhya for the first time today..she had to just go & rush into his arms & say ..what punya I must have done to get you..Fine..at least no need to say anything JUST HOLD HIM TIGHT..That would say it all..I think the director has really gone wrong here BIG TIME..I mean come on it was a serious allegation & the way her husband handled it was so brilliant without hurting his family & yet he stood firm & with his wife..upholding her maryada..!!..and then when he came to her with that box..sitting next to her..asking er if she wants she can move on with her brother & she just stares at him..noword spoken..I HATE THAT SILENCE>.IT IS GETTING ON MY NERVES..I wanted to scream..Sorry I love Sandhya & suraj very very much please dont mistake me..BUT THE DIRECTOR Could have shown their untold love very beautifully here but he lost the opportunity..just for TRP I guess..!! Its HIGH time as some one has said..they show some REAL LOVE between the two..all these..helping & standing for each other ..bohoth hogaya..!!

Totally agree with the posts which sd that she was justified in her anger. It's Sandhya's anger and embarassment in the face of Bhabo's interference into something so private and intimate which should've remained thus between husband and wife.

That's why I think she couldn't meet Suraj's eyes hence why she missed seeing his sadness at offering her an out by suggesting that she can go to her brother.

It's a catch-22 kind of situation. She respects him but is rendered powerless in the face of her respect for him and his love for his mother. She obviously cares about him but one can only imagine the frustration she feels at his inability to nip his mothers constant diatribes in the bud.

I reckon the show exposes something which unfortunately is a big problem in relationships where a person tries to respect their elders but those very elders don't know where to draw the line in terms of advising on matters which are none of their business, out of apparent concern.

Despite what happened right after the dramatic showdown, the fact that they turned up as a couple at the holi ceremony speaks volumes in terms of SurYa as a joint force - a married couple, a first step in disproving Bhabo's theories on their marriage.

Also, Sandhya's reply to Bhabho I think shows that she has decided to channel her frustrations into beating Bhabo at her own game with the help of Suraj's quiet support.

Can't wait to see how things pan out!

(My first post here for DABH. Became a huge fan after watching the epis over the weekend.)

But I thought her expressions were great!
She's sitting there dazed, humiliated, angry, bludgeoned. He gives her the box of sindoor, mangalsutra etc. Then he APOLOGISES on behalf of his family - she looks up at him at that point, wonder in her eyes. He had been so diplomatic that it was not evident that he too was traumatised and humiliated by the incident. And when he offers to let her go, there's wonder again and respect in her eyes. He is not watering down the incident, he is telling her that this is a grave insult to her dignity and that if she feels she can't take it, he would understand. The very fact that he took this tamasha so seriously and saw it from her POV took away her anger, and made her EVEN more determined to hold on.

The fact that she comes to the holika dolled up like that, wearing every mark of a married woman shows us her answer to his statement. She has rejected his offer to go back home - once again she has chosen Suraj over every other option in her life. On pure instinct, without articulattion she knows that she's not letting him go, or getting out of his life that easy. She may not be in love with him, she may not know what she feels, but she chooses him, again and again. And he knows it.

I for one, LOVED that that scene didn't have a proper end - and the next we see of Sandhya is looking like that coming down for a suhaagan puja. There's the answer to the question Bhabho asked, if only she would listen.
