Before I start someone answer my question… was this a Shadi or a Lavish Nautanki😕? Somewhere in all the hula gula the sanctity of the ceremony was lost. I agree the weddings weren't of the lead couple so u can fool around as much as u want and the weddings weren't a twist in itself but a mere platform for the twist… it still should have maintained the serenity of the occasion. Chalo one thing I am happy about is this Shadi ka Nautanki which has been going on for a month now is finally OVER! PHEW!
They showed the brides getting ready yday… I was wishing they would show a scene between Jai-Ranveer, Aditya-Sahil.. forheaven sake it is their big day too… why does the bride get all the attention? More than Aditya-Sahil, I wanted to hear what Jai would tell Ranveer… it would have been a sweet scene… but trust the creatives to overlook such scenes. Jai and Ranveer in one frame would have been something else…😳
Jai looked good in a Black Sherwani. His ethnic wear this time around is much better… his wardrobe is in charge of his wife… she does a god job of it👏. Bani, it is the worst attire she has worn till date… somehow it didn't go well with the image of Mrs Jai Walia. She has always maintained an elegant look but this was plain atrocious and what was that jewellery in her hair🤢? It was annoying. Thank god for Jigyasa's presence, in comparison Bani looked sober even in that horrific yellow with a dash of pink thrown in somewhere😆. Ranveer looked Handsome as always. Saloni looked graceful. Others are not even worth mentioning.
The brides were escorted down and they took blessing from everyone…. In a line!!! It was like some school function where everyone was supposed to stand in a line… then Prnicipal came with medals for everyone😕😆. The way Jai called out for Rano, Rashi & Anu sounded as if he was calling out the roll number from the attendance register😆. It really sounded funny and to top it his duplicate. But what I liked more was what Jai said… the 1st priority is for the Mangal Sutr and then if they liked it their husbands would put it up for them. I saying so sweet of him… Na, saab ki kuch aur hi plan te😉. The fourth box was lying there. When asked who it was for… Bani was already blushing… she knows her husband quite well. Jai looked at her with a sweet smile. 'Bani' he called… 'Bani' sounds so sweet from his mouth… so soft and so loving😳! Bani stepped in front. Then he said something I was totally lost… he said 'Shadi ka mahol… jigaysa…' Did someone get that dialogue😕? Now Ram is swallowing dialogues? Then he gave a heartfelt speech about Bani bringing in Happiness into everyone's life since she has been around and Thanked her for it. Awwwwwwww How sweet. Bani was brimming with Happiness herself… then that flirting smile came flashing on his face 'Main pehenadoon?'😳 Now I got why he asked the husbands to help their wives with the necklace. Khud karna chata ta… God Mamu u r impossible! Moka mila nahi he began flirting. With Jiya dhadak dhak playing in the backdrop completed the moment.
No doubt it was a very sweet gesture from Jai's side… but kuch formal lagraha tha. I would have preferred the scene in their room, all alone. It would have been more romantic and a lot more intimate and a heart felt acceptance of the fact that Bani was the BEST that has happened to him and how much he cherishes her😳. But having said that considering Jai has insulted Bani so many times in front of that very family, he owed her this acknowledgement in front of the entire family👏. I am glad he accepted the fact that he has been a jerk all this while. 😆
Waise Jai dont u think u should have got one for Jigyasa as well... pata nahi, i felt u should have. 😕
Saloni made an entry. Jai went to invite her but stood talking with someone else! Then he walked upto her and was his charming self introduced his wife. He asked about Nahar and Saloni became all sad, but managed a 'Theek Hain' And Jai says don't worry everything will be fine. Ya right Mr.Walia! U will soon join him to give him company😕😆! Ur respective wives are hell bent on digging the graves from your past… and trust me some horrific ghosts are emerging at every step🤢. Good Luck guys! 😕
Bani-Saloni's mutual admiration club! They should start a detective agency aswell.
Then came the dance. It was the main highlight of the Nautanki. Bani was really being very filmy with her ladka and jatkas… she reminded me of a jeetender's heroines😆. Forget her steps, just watch her eyes... twinkling and flirting with her husband😳. And watch Jai enjoy all the attention coming his way, yet act as if he has no clue. The sweetest Jai could get was turn away and give a shy happy smile at the fact that his wife was blatantly expressing her love for him. Jai-Bani's Aankhon ki Gustaki was all that I enjoyed in that song. Saloni danced with Bani. Saloni was more graceful and natural… the poor girl was missing her husband. I wish Nahar was there too… standing with Jai smiling away to glory.
I don't follow Saath phere, but there is something really warm and charming about Saloni. What struck me most about her today was her silent dignity and grace when she spoke to Jai. Rajshri Takur is quite a find👏… Hmmm Prachi has a tough competition for the debutant award!
Then the most avoidable scene of the century. The golmal item number by Rohit's friends. Jaisa Rohit waise hi uske dosti.. lafange🤢! What kind of people will sing a GOLMAL at a wedding? Uff how tasteless. I was wondering why they were promoting Golmaal… it wasn't a balaji production. How did I forget Ekta's kid brother's was in it? Now if it wasn't enough that the song was really tacky and cheap… there was a face I hate the most on TV. Rohit Bakshi😡😡😡 How much do I hate him, still not over the torture he put us through his Mr. Goody two shoes act. He could alone be a reason for me to shred this episode into pieces.
Btw who is this Aunty from Mt. Abu😕? Please tell me she doesn't know Jai. I really don't want someone to go 'Aap' looking at Jai. But this lady is here to make things worse for Jai…. else I don't see why Bani and Pia will give that lady so much of importance. 😕
Es Anu ka main kya karoon😡? Eski By Demand tho katam hoti nahi hai. Farmaish par farmaish! Kabhi Sandy es keliye perform karega tho Kabhi Mamu se gavaliya, Mami se dance bhi karwali and she would refuse to sit in the mantap without her mom singing a song. Next wat Anu?
Jigyasa sang… thank god they had an original audio for it. it looked too filmy didn't move me much. Jigyasa bhi ajeeb hai… she found this time to discuss Anu's pregnancy? The pandit instead of carrying on with the ritual was listening to Jigyasa! But I liked the fact that Jigyasa and Aditya connected as parents. 'How sweet did Aditya look when he held Jigyasa's hand and said 'Main hoon na tumhare sath' and he so sweetly made her laugh through her tears with his jokes. Chalo this jodi is on track as well.👏
Now for my personal fav moment of the day😃. Jai-Bani doing Rano's kanyadaan👏. For the 1st time Jai has accepted Bani's relationships as his own and honoured its responsibility. Bnai has from day one accepted his relationships and today it was Jai's turn and what really mattered was that he did it as if it was the most natural thing to do. If Bani is like a mother to Rano, then he assumed the place of a father figure. Well done Jai👏 Jai-Bani sitting in the mantap as man and wife was such a picture perfect scene😳. Jigyasa u better think a 100 times before u bully Rano… don't forget Jai has done her kanyadaan and he has every right to hunt u down if u misbehave😆. Btw yeh Pushkar kahan chala gaya? He should have come… if Jai can forgave Pia he can def forgive u too. It looked so odd he was missing at his salli's wedding.
The wedding took place… thanks to 2 the simultaneous ceremony I couldn't concentrate on any… I am not bothered about the rest, but I really wanted to see Ranveer's reactions upclose and I wanted to see how Ranveer and Rashi looked in the same frame. No such luck. Have to wait for somemore time. Shadi katam hua and then the couple again in line to take blessing from elders who were again standing in a line😆! Jai gave Ranveer a hug, How sweet did Jai look? And even today Ranveer has to prove how much he hates his Mamiji. Just watch him glare at her and walk away without even bothering to stand for her to congratulate him… it was a fleeting moment, but still u could feel the power of the scene. Bani affects Ranveer like no one does. Bani must have felt like an old lady today… all fell to her feet, except for Ranveer ofcourse. If she stood by Jai then may be he would have had to touch her feet. Btw did anyone notice if Jigyasa blessed Rano? 😕
Bani and her advice to Rashi… u don't feel like u don't have a mom and I am her for you, wont u miss her. Arre Bani, stay away from Ranveer Rashi, u will only create rift among the two.
Now for the biggest flop show of the decade. Rohit & Rashi's mom is ALIVE😕😆! God who is this lady? What was wrong with her hair? And Jigyasa's lipstick that went missing was indeed stolen by Mrs. Chopra! Watch Bani glare at Ranvijay, that guy was literally shaking with fear remembering Bani's Gabbar act. And Jai was like… now what do I do? Arre usmein kya problem hai? It is an ekta kapoor show. just coz Rashi/Rohit's mom is alive doesn't mean Ranvijay's wife cant die! She could be his 2nd wife… what is the big deal😃. Jai see I am giving u ideas to cover up that stupid lie.
Bani never learns from past mistakes! She is again off to some mill to find out about the Raaz. Didn't she know there was an attempt on her life TWICE😡? Thank God her mobile ring caught Jai's attention… he will go behind her and save her yet again and the truth should be out… else he manages to stop her before she steps out of the house.
Now Mr. Private Number is one smart player… and a spooky one at that. The fact that Ranvijay had lied to Bani was known only to Ranvijay, Jai and Bani and this conversation happened behind closed doors… then how did someone get a clue of this. So that means it is someone at the Walia Mansion… my guess still remains Tony.
That is it from me… not a gripping episode.. bugged and irritated me no end! If not for Jai I am in no mood to give this episode a second thought. Hopefully it should get better next week around.
