Ajay Devgan's and Sunny Deol's houses in the posh Juhu area were waterlogged. The actors had to move away their car to a different location so that it doesn't get submerged in water, learning from their previous experiences last year to save it from getting damaged. Director Karan Johar was supposed to shoot a song with Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji and Kajol. But he had to cancel the shoot due to the rains, as Shah Rukh Khan couldn't make to the sets for a shoot from his Bandra home to Yashraj Studios in Andheri owing to waterlogged roads. The film is supposed to release on August 11 and Karan due to rains is running out of time to wrap up the proceedings. Sajid Nadiawala's 'Jaan-E-Mann' directed by Shirish Kunder also met similar fate. A set was put and dismantled very much like 26/7. Sajid had to cancel the shoot with Salman, as it was impossible to reach the Film City. Even for 'Baabul' featuring Salman Khan shooting had to be cancelled as the technicians and artists couldn't report on time. Many film studios across Mumbai had to cancel shooting schedule on account of rain. Also the outdoor shooting in all the places had to be cancelled. There is no way one can take a shot in this heavy rain and so some people have postponed their schedules. Rains have also stuck theatres, as people are not treading out of their houses even to watch super hit films like 'Phir Hera Pheri', 'Fanaa' and 'Krrish' and likely the business of the films will suffer. |
