Part 15

Maan ran a frustrating hand through his hair.He had spoilt his relationship again.What was the need to kiss her forcefully?

For heaven's sake,she didn't even want it to return.

Maan sighed as he opened his drawer and took out her picture.

He smiled at the photograph as his mind travelled back to the day two years back when he had known that there existed a girl named Geet Handa.

Past-Two Years Back..

Maan was broken.He thought that he never wanted to live after she left him.It was a year after Ragini's death.

Maan was sitting on a chair thinking about the moments he cherished with her.

How much he wished Ragini was here-with him!

"Kya soch rahe ho beta?"his dadaji's voice jerked him back to reality.

He smiled sadly and said,"bas yahi hai ki woh kyun mujhe chodke chale gaye."

Dadaji patted his back.

Maan continued,"bahuth pyar kiya meine usse.aur aaj bhi sirf usse hi pyar karta hun..aur humesha karte hi rahunga"

Dadaji slowly said,"beta zindagi mein kuch cheezein hoti hain jab tum sochthe ho ki sab kuch khtam hogaya.Par beta,asal mein tumhare shuruvad sirf wohi hoga-wahan se hi hoga.tum uss ladki ko bhul javo beta..aur ye dekho,tumhare liye meine Mohinder ki beti dhunde hai..bahuth pyari hai"

Maan slowly stretched his hand and got the white envelope dadaji had given him.

He slowly said,"Dadaji,mein kal Sidney ja raha hun"

Dadaji smiled and said,"javo beta..aur jab wapas aayyega,mujhe mere pehla Maan chahiye"

He had chosen to leave India because the house,the city,the place and everything reminded him of her and the memories he'd treasure always.

Dadaji always wanted KTP to be established as an international company.Maan thought that he wanted KTP to be established firmly in Sidney,as it was a very important techno-centre of the world.

He was to meet Mr.Whorlton,who decided to help him.

Maan walked through the terminus and boarded the flight.Strangely,he had the photo of the girl who dadaji really liked.

He had his backpack with him and he opened it to take the photograph.He could feel his heart beat dhak-dhak..he couldn't guess what it was.

He stared at the envelope for nearly an hour unsure of what he must do.

Exhausted,he let his heart take over and opened the envelope.His hands were shaking.He slowly opened the envelope and slid the photo out.

He slowly slid it and the announcement went,"Passengers are requested to wear his/her seatbelts."

Maan was just seein the brown eyes of her when the announcement went.He shoved the photograph into the envelope and wore his seatbelt.

Those eyes-they were so pretty.It was so deep that he wished to explore.Strangely,he felt those eyes very familiar.

But her brown eyes kept him occupied throughout the journey to Mr.Whorlton's house.

Everytime he tried to get his mind away from those eyes,they came in front of him!

It was driving him insane.For nearly 6 months he'd just open the envelope,look at those eyes and push it back into the cover.

But today,he was going to see the owner of those enchanting pair of eyes.For six months they'd been his sole comfort.Whenever he was happy,he looked into them.When he was remembered of his failed love,he looked into them.

Again his heartbeats accelerated.He was anxious,

He closed his eyes and her pair appeared before him.He slowly slid the photo out and opened his eyes to take a look at the Girl wh he was supposed to marry.

His heart skipped a beat when he saw how beautiful she was.

Her black doe-shaped eyes were helping him drown in them..

Her cute nose and her perfect lips!!He felt something different-a feeling he hadn't felt for any girl so far!

He hugged the photograph tight and he felt complete-complete with her.

Then for the remaining 1.5 years he spent there,he would talk to her smiling photograph daily.His days began with her and nights ended with her-his leisure time even spent with her-dreaming about her..

He knew that what he felt for her was something more than mere attraction.It was something more pure-LOVE.

He realized that he loved her.

But he was confused that whether she would understand his feelings?

Would his love would get reciprocated unlike the first time?

Would she..

The buzz of his mobile phone jerked him back to reality.He had spent four hours dreaming about her!!

He looked at her photograph and said,"I'm sorry Geet!When I first saw you,I was afraid that i'd meet you.When I met you in my room,Geet My mind went blank because I never thought you'd look this beautiful in real..Geet when you wore Rags' salwar,I was scared that maybe you'd get Rags' importance in my life!But Geet my intention was not to kiss you forcefully..I wanted to wait till I make you fall in love with me..

"But Geet I think that,I deserve my punishment.I know what to do Geet."

At the same time,

"So you expect me to step back and watch him MOLEST you?"Vicky yelled.

"Vikaas!Mind your tongue"Geet retorted back.

"Great after all that had happened b/w you and him in the past,you want me to stop and wait and then come to your aid after he has finished 'everything'..How can you bhabi?"he asked her shaking her shoulders.

"I love him Vikaas!"Geet shouted.

"So?"

"So I've decided."

"Decided what?"

"If kissing and touching me makes him happy and brings a smile on his face,I'm ready to do even 'that'.

"Maan,I'll always be near you.How much you hate me..I'll show you that my love can wipe away the past"

Meanwhile,

"I've made up my mind Geet.I'll stay away from you-If that brings happiness and smile on your face!"he said determinantly.

"I'll make you hate me Geet!I'll torture you..Because If U be with me I can give you only pain.."

Look at the irony of nature..She wants to be closer to him and he wants to stay away from him-Will they ever confess their feelings?

Preview:"U want me to show that you can do anything?"

"Yes,I can"she replied.

Maan smirked and said,"Strip!"
