SHOCK. That was the only emotion Rano felt at that time. After all these years, she couldn't believe that her dearest wish had come true!! Understanding Ma's emotions, Geet softly pressed her hand.

"…..jee maa, darasal mujhe bhi yeh baat kuchh mahine pehle hi pata chali thi. Papaji ka accident nahi hua tha wo ek attempt to murder tha…."

Rano's brain could barely process the information she was receiving. She felt her head would explode any minute. She increased the intensity of her grip on Geet's hand.

"….Maa, iss sab ki kadi Maan se bhi judi hai, isliye main aapko sab kuchh unhi ke saamne batana chahti honn. Filhaal ke liye main sirf itna bata sakti hoon ki Papaji jahan hai bilkul theek hai…."

Rano nodded. Though her happiness grew no bounds, she desperately needed some break to digest the news she just received.

EVENING

MAANEET's ROOM, OUTHOUSE

Maan was a little curious as well as concerned since Geet had called him early from office as she had to discuss something important. Even during breakfast Maa and Geet bot looks preoccupied but he couldn't question them at that time. Right now as soon as he reached outhouse, he saw Rano ma and Geet both were already present there, apparently waiting for him….

"Kya baat hai Geet? Tumne mujhe iss tarah se bulaya…. sab thik to hai na?"

"Wo…. mujhe aapko kuchh batana tha….."

He saw Geet and Ma exchanging looks and Ma nodding her head as if gesturing her to continue.

"…..wo…. wo….main yeh batana chahti thi ki….. Papaji zinda hai…."

Maan felt his head spin at this revelation. He couldn't even repeat those words in his head. He kept gaping at Geet too stunned to speak anything. But he silently looked at Rano who seemed unusually calm and composed, hearing her talk about papaji like this. He questioningly looked at Geet.

"…. Haan main jaanti hoon ki mujhe aapko pehle bata dena chaiyeh tha par Papaji chahte the ki yeh baat main Mama ko aur aapko saath mein bataooun…."

He silently looked at Rano who seemed unusually calm and composed and quite comfortable, listening to her talk about papaji like this. He questioningly looked at Geet.

"…..mama ko pata hai ki main hi unki Geet hoon…."

Maan took a mental sigh of relief. He was feeling guilty about hiding such a big fact about her daughter from a mother. But, what was Geet saying about Papaji??

"….Papaji ka accident ek pre-planned murder tha…. aur uske pichhe chachaji aur Brij ka haath tha…."

Rano ma and Maan both were not surprised to hear this. By now, they had a fair idea about the disgusting lengths those low lying creeps could go to.

"….accident se pehle, papaji ne ek aadmi ko lift di thi…. humein jo laash mili thi wo unhi ki thi….. Aur accident ke impact ki wajah se papaji road par door jaakar gire the….. Luckily waha par se ek gaadi bhi jaa rahi thi…. un logon ne papaji ko hospital pahuchaya aur unki bahut madad ki…."

"Par Geet jab Papaji theek the to unhone humein contact kyun nahi kiya?? I mean itne saal se unhone humein contact kyun nahi kiya…."

"….accident ke baad papaji coma mein chale gaye the aur doctors ne bhi jawab de diya tha…. par jin uncle ne unhe hospital pahuchaya tha, wo unhe apne saath London le gaye further ilaaj ke liye…. Papaji ko kuchh mahine pehle hi hosh aaya hai aur infact kal wo Delhi bhi wapas aa rahe hai…."

Rano who was silently crying till now, couldt help herself and started sobbing softly-

"Hey babaji…. Rabb di meher hai ki wo sahi salaamat hai….bhagwaan unn bhaisahaab ka bhalaa kare jinhone ek anjaan aadmi ki itni madad kari….mere duhaag ki raksha kari…."

"Ma…. wo aur koi nahi superman ke dad Raj uncle hain... Aur Papaji ko hi superman bade papa bulaate hain…."

Both of them were shocked. They didn't know how would they ever repay Raj and his family for all that they have done for them.

"Papaji kal kab aa rahe hain??"

"Beta…. main to tumhare thik pichhe hi khada hoon…."

Maan was taken aback and froze at his place. He couldn't believe his ears. He was hearing to the loving voice after so many years. He turned and was shocked to see, HIS PAPAJI. He looked extremely frail and weak but still carried the aura and the serenity on his face.

Rano couldn't control herself. She flung herself into his arms and started crying bitterly. He cocooned her in his embrace while soothing her back lovingly and invited Maan to join the hug too, to which he immediately complied. Maan slowly wiped the lone tear of happiness that escaped his eye.

All this while, Geet lovingly gazed at her FAMILY which had reunited after a long time, they had got separated due to some demons. But now, it was payback time!!!
