I thought of making the Written Updates for the first five episodes, for future reference.😆
EPISODE 1
(27 th February 2012)
The Story begins with a party, and its one BIG PARTY.
(Why do I never get invitation to such parties)
Many people have gathered, and its shown glasses of champagne are filled. Everyone is enjoying the party, men drinking, women gossiping( we women, i tell you!😆). The Scene shifts to a woman's hand impatiently tapping on a counter, and a heavily dressed woman burdened with excessive jewelry and too much make up is shown, who checks around to see if anybody is looking or not(Looks like the vamp of the show. I am guessing a funny vamp, well the background music does suggest that. Something's definitely cooking, ). She picks up a glass of alcohol and drinks it hiding it from everyone.( Chhup kar daru pine key vastey?) She puts the glass on the counter and walks towards a group of women standing with a man, and laughing. She comes to the man and greets,"Darling!"(Inkey patidev?) The man replies,"You just missed it", he turns towards the group of woman and starts telling another joke. He starts of saying he went to Chandigarh two days back, where one thing is very common in the entire city-"gol gol pathharon waala design" (hain? seriously?) which one can see everywhere. There in Chandigarh he was standing in the balcony of the hotel he was staying at night and he saw a drunk guy walking on the edge of the road and singing (Full talli 😆). All of a sudden a huge dog comes running from a neighboring house and pounces on the drunk guy. In defense, the guy was starting to pick up a stone from the footpath but the stone wasn't coming off. So he retorted, " Chandigarh is a very strange city! They let the dogs roam about, and tie the stones?" and everyone laughs ( I guess that's funny...). He concludes that this is why he loves Delhi, 'dilwaalon ki shaher Delhi'. His wife agrees with him. At this moment a photographer approaches them asking for a photograph, and they agree to it. The wife happily muses how so many guests arrived to their party at such a short notice. The man replies, "Oye Pammiji! This is party is thrown by Delhi's biggest cement king(did i hear it wrong?). Sunil Malhotra gave the party and people wont turn up? Is that possible?!" (So the Woman is Pammi and the man is Sunil Malhotra...) Pammiji agrees to him saying "of course". The group of women congratulate the couple for their daughter who has apparently won some award, and they wish that she becomes a great fashion designer in the future. The woman boasts saying, "what do you mean by 'WILL BECOME'? She is already a fashion designer!(100% lie, i am sure) She even designed my dress(no comments 😆)! I, only showed her the necklace that my husband brought from Germany(oh you had to say that!) and she designed the dress for me!" Mr. Sunil Malhotra takes leave from the group, and his wife leaves after him. the group of women look at each other and suppress their laugh. Pammi walks off busy with her mobile when she stumbles upon an elderly woman, who is apparently her mother. The woman sniffs her (daru ki smell a rahi hai!) She asks Pammi how many pegs of alcohol she has taken till now. Pammi lies saying she drank a small amount of liquor but her mother doesn't believe her. She asks her if Pammi can see a 'fool' name plate on her head, she is not a fool like her husband, who believes everything that she says dressed as Son-pari(What the...?)
Anyways, she asks her daughter not to create a scene in front of everyone here and to keep shut lest she ends up saying something foolish (I agree) , she will talk to all the guests in her place, and asks her not to meddle in.
Sunil comes to Mummyji and greets her, asks her why she is so late? Without her the Party wasn't FUN. Mummyji says who else can learn hoe to make a party more exciting than him, and her frnds in kitty parties muse over it. (What a saas damad chemistry i tell you!) She praises the beautiful arrangement for 'Jassi puttar'. To this Sunil says its all because of her blessings. Mummyji asks where Jassi is, and Sunil asks his wife where she is?
The Scene shifts to a semi dark room with a young girl working on some dress sketches(Not Jassi I guess!😆). Dedicated in her work, she picks up some design and starts matching which fabric would suit design. Her assistant calls her, "Vidhi mam, dont you have to go to the party?" (See I was right!)She replies that only a little bit is left, she'll finish it and go. The assistant fusses over how she has been working non-stop from the morning for this design, cant she just make do it the next day? Vidhi replies that its very important to her. The reason: Jassi got an award for her designs in Paris, for which those people are coming to India to see her latest collection. If she succeeds then this will be a Big Break for her. (yeh lo, ek aur daya ki Ganga!) the assistant gets irritated and she says why is she Fussing over a thing than someone else was supposed to do, and who is enjoying the party without a care in the world! She continues saying how Vidhi is the one who is working all the time and Jassi takes all the credit away. She advises Vidhi to take the mike in her hand and tell everyone the TRUTH(Yeah like thats gonna happen so soon?!)Vidhi keeps on doing her work.
Finally the face of the woman is shown. She replies to her assistant saying "Jassi is equally talented, Jassi knows about Designs and Fabrics better than herself. She is Just making the designs but the actual idea is Jassi's( We know you are stupid, but are we? ), she is a VERY good designer( yeah right!). To tell the truth..."
The assistant cuts her off completing, " To tell the truth, she is nothing nothing in the name of design, but just a failure...she cant manage her own clothes, how can she design clothes for others?"(See the assistant even know that!😆)
The scene then shifts to a girl dressed in red clothes, rather 'weirdly dressed', who stumbles down the stairs while coming sown. She adjusts her clothes, and immediately poses for the camera.(now that is Jassi, dumb as expected.) the reporters ask her how is she feeling after winning the award? Jassi replies animatedly saying that she is Irritated with the same questions again and again...The reporters next ask her if This is her first award. Jassi replies that its true, she didn't even get one in her school. At this her grandma jumps in (boy what scene I tell you!🤣) to stop her from ranting any thing more stupid or lets out the truth, perhaps!😆
She proceeds with answering in her behalf. She makes up for Jassi's stupid blabbering by saying that no one really understood her talent in school, as one knows that when a flower blooms, it spreads the sweet scent all around, and Jassi is nothis but a sweet little flower too.( you mean Fool na?) Lo! she says the same to her grand daughter too!🤣 She asks the reporters to enjoy the party, and takes away Jassi away from the reporters to meet someone.
Pammi looks at Jassi musing over her own childhood when, according to her, she was too talented and brilliant!(haw?!???you kidding?). She sighs if Vidhi too had some talent, if she had 10% of Jassi's talent, she would have been very happy(Yeah right!) Sunil's face turns grave. Pammi continues with her ranting, how Jassi had tried her best to make her like her, but she didn't let her, she isn't even in the party... Vidhi doesn't consider Jassi as her sister, and she feels really sad because Vidhi is so jealous of Jassi. Sunil looks furious, he walks off saying he is going to talk to her! Pammi walks off smiling, but is stopped by her mother who chastises her for not listening to her, for keeping her moth shut. She says that Jassi's importance will be lowered if Vidhi comes to the party. She had planned so much to stop Vidhi from coming to party, but now because of Pammi everything will be completely ruined! Sunil dials Vidhi's number.
The scene shifts to Vidhi again, her assistant had brought her some sandwitches and asks her to eat them this time. At this time Sunil's phone comes to her cell. Sunil starts off scolding her daughter for not being in the party without listening to her side, accuses her for being jealous of Jassi. He asks her to quickly come to the party. He chastises his daughter saying that because of him he feels so humiliated in front of everyone!(What a 'kaan ke kachhe' husband! dont you try to understand your daughter?) Vidhi cries and leaves for the party. The Assistant asks her to eat the sandwich but she hurries off.
Next Jassi s shown talking to a group of girls, who asks her that it must be quite tiresome work, but she says its not that tiresome, and again her grandmom jumps in,😆 boasting for her. Vidhi enters the party. Reporters ask Jassi about the material she used 'her designs', and she is unable to answer it(of course she wouldn't be able to!). Vidhi comes to her rescue answering on her behalf. Jassi just nods along. However she rudely tells Vidhi for answering on her behalf, because she was just going to answer it, and she ruined it.(liar liar pant on fire😡) The Grandmom comes to the reporters and tells them how Vidhi has learned so much from Jassi. Vidhi keeps silent and sad. Grandmom keeps boasting falsely about Jassi and showing Vidhi down.
She keeps telling that Jassi is the actual creator and Vidhi just follows her, and helps her. Grandmom takes vidhi away from the Press and Pammi joins in telling that its a good thing that she decided to come to that Party, as her father was too pissed at her. The Grandmom asks her to selflessly help Jassi without thinking of anything in return, as she is her sister too, and even though they are her step-sis and mom, still they behave nicely with her, unlike the typical ones(oh yeah! do you guys have a degree on Hypocrisy and lying?) Grandmom asks Vidhi if she completed jassi's work, but she says that she was about to complete it when her father called. At this time Sunil bumps into their conversation, and is immediately starts with chastising her, asking what are they talking? Grandmom spins the situation again in other direction saying that Vidhi was telling everyone how she had to leave work becoz of her dad's phone. On hearing this Sunil is pissed and he starts scolding Vidhi very badly, and asks her to leave if she doesnt want to stay...
Grandmom asks him to stop scolding her as this is a very noble occasion and not to spoil the mood with all the scoldings. Sunil believing their sweet words tells Vidhi that she does not care for them as her family, and leaves.
Pammi rubs salt on her wounds by telling her that she will tell Sunil not to scold her like this, and leaves...(kitna bolegi yeh tou humein pata hai! Vamp kahin ki!)
Vidhi cries and tries to control her tears, she leaves the party, and stands outside the house. She starts walking into the night...gets onto an auto and asks him to drive straight. Vidhi remembers her childhood memories of how Pammi had Falsely told Sunil, that Vidhi had thrown Little Jassi from the bed. To avoid these situation, she asks him to send Vidhi to a boarding school. Sunil agrees to it, while Little Vidhi listens to all of it.
She remembers how she was dragged to the hostel when she cried and asked her dad to let her stay with him. She gets off near Gateway of India and asks the autowaala to wait, while she quietly stands. Another passenger comes and asks the auto if he can go, and he agrees to it, leaving Vidhi alone.
(Yahan Bhi?)
Vidhi decided to head back... at this time some police officers come and assuming her to be some you-know-what(cant say it😆) teases her, and asks her if she was waiting for some rich guy. They were about to take her to the Police Station, when a guy in a bike, come and asks her to sit on the bike. He tells them that she had sent him to buy ice cream, but was standing here...(Oh my!😳)
He continues that because of a power cut the ice cream melted and so he brought her here, to buy her some... and asks Vidhi to get on the bike.
Vidhi looks confused.😕
