Now hear this, I love Indira, Rishi, AND Sameer! I am not on the "OR" team 😉 so please hear me out.
I think all three are powerhouses and are the reasons I watch this show. This is the first time I have watched a show and found it hard to choose between the two male leads. Rishi made me believe in love, hope, and miracles while Sameer has captivated me with his style and mystery. CVS has certainly forced my decision to be on Team InShi but only because they butchered Sameer's character unequivocably. That doesn't mean I don't root for SaRa... There may be hope yet but I doubt it happening any time soon!
So my point is this, since Rishi gets the girl in the show then I want Mrunal to know he's got this girl in real life 😊
Don't worry Sumit, I promise to build your shrine when things get tough on the show! ⭐️
Mrunal deserves great appreciation for shape-shifting his character so seamlessly making it impossible not to follow him on an emotional rollercoaster. When Sameer arrived, he made you hate him but he didn't forget to captivate you with his crazies and style. Then there was his ego and determination which got us all defensive, fighting, and scared. Sameer got darker and the hate and disgust started but as hard as it was, his vulnerability made you feel some pity even though it felt unwarranted. Psycho Sameer crying almost hallucinating loves his brother, took care of him, and now he is sick out of his mind for Indira. (Serously, one Diwan is a broken heart who ties it together with a smile and the other a torn mind drugged by love! The love hungry brothers make it clear how negligent Mummy and Papa Diwan were and still are...)
Nonetheless, seeing Mrunal today was such a treat albeit the yuck factor of having him with Mandira! (Sorry, I hate her character and want her with Pappu... real far away from any Diwan!) Mrunal has convinced me that Sameer loves Indira in the only way Sameer Diwan knows. Unfortunately, it just isn't right for her or EVEN SAMEER!
Still, the scene between Sameer and Indira was fantastic! He was evil but he brought the charm back on the table. Mrunal made you forget Sameer's out of his mind. He made you realize that Rishi isn't the only one who wants to play, love, or even smile! 😊
Mrunal makes you believe that Sameer is drugged by his love for never tasting it at home. The hate Hitler Didi shells out feels a lot like the love Mummy and Daddy gave. He grew up on that love! He is scared, confused, and vulnerable, not psycho when he wants to run away from Mandira. He wants to marry Indira not have her for a night like his mother suggests. (Of course Mother Diwan doesn't get you Sameer but I do!) There are so many mixed signals on who Sameer really is and understanding him is real hard and Mrunal keeps the intrigue going.
So Sofia raises a metaphoric champagne glass to Mrunal for a job superbly done. Here's to having him be a hero. Still I can't help but love the enemy in him as well! Mrunal, if you're ever in NYC... can I get an autograph? 😳
P.S. Thank You to all the people who read this post!
