MY VALENTINE'S DAY - an os

Hi guys! I don't know what I have written! May be an os! But this one is dedicated to two people! One to the birthday girl Haffie and the other our Mahi! Mahi you asked me to write an os for Valentine 's Day and then I couldn't! So this late one! Guys do enjoy and leave your comments! Hit the like button and please ignore the mistakes!

She is everything she wanted her to be! Smart, confident, studious and you name it! She would never say she is beautiful neither would she say she is ugly! She would say she is unique! And she is that! There were times in her life when she would feel low and get irritated and her rage would take control! And there were times when all she wanted to do was sleep peacefully shutting her out from the entire world. She is unique, she is weird and she is a mystery. All her life she tried to prove to the big bad world that she is capable of dealing with it all by herself. And she proved she was right. But there was a decision she regrets to her core! A precious thing she decided to lose on her race to become a never-seen-before success. She got the success but somewhere along the race she lost something more precious. She lost him. Okay cut it! If you all thought I am going to write something in this line cut it right there! No I am going to introduce you to the most amazing girl! Yes, she is unique but not the one to miss out on love for anything in this world! She is 27 and is the PRO for the most successful empire of the Singhanias! Yes! Her life is perfect! A perfect job, a perfect boss in Mr. Singhania and a perfect daughter in Aaliya! Yeah yeah I know you all got shocked! Before you assume anything let me tell you even I was shocked! And me? Who am I? I am Arjun Punj! The writer! Don't you know me? So bad! So first my proper introduction! I am Arjun Punj, 30, 6'5", writer and head over heels in love with the mother of 4 year old Aaliya! I love Arohi, hopelessly and pathetically! And don't you dare judge my character by that! Arohi is a single mother! I know you people are confused! So I will start my story from the beginning! Not very first beginning! I will begin from our first meeting! So take some grapes to eat while listening! For the record I am a great fan of grapes! So here goes my story...

I met her exactly 11 months 2 days and 12 hours before! May be the hour math is wrong but everything else is true! I was going to write a story of a PRO at that time and was in search of someone who could be my inspiration, as in someone who could help me understand the problems and the exact duty of a PRO. That's how I met her through my cousin Shefali. Our first meeting was like this...

"Hi! I am Arjun Punj, the writer!"

"Hi! I am Arohi Ahluwalia, the PRO!"

Amazing naa? It was! I found her intriguing and mysterious! She had an aura of certain attraction around her. She was friendly, cheeky and a pleasant to be with person! A girl, who could make anyone fall in love with her through her talks! Her way of handling people and situations was what made her a great PRO. She was a different kind of person! Matured yet have that vibe of playfulness in her! Her scent betrays a seducing sultry passion. What was she? Something beyond my comprehension! I still remember how much attractive and pretty she looked in that office attire of hers! A knee length pencil skirt teamed with white shirt and black blazer. Her blazer was on her hands when she walked in to talk to me in that restaurant. It was after her office time and I could see she was tired. But that was the first time I came to know that a tired woman could look ravishing! She walked straight to me in her black heels not wavering even for a second. I put forward my hand for the introduction and it all started. A new beginning! A new sunshine! A new rain! A new coziness! My research stretched longer than my initial intention. In the first meeting itself I came to know about her daughter and no need to say I was disappointed. But with a certain kind of easiness she said she was a single mother. In her exact words,

"I am a single mom and not ashamed of it! Believing in my daughter's dad was a mistake! I should have known he was a coward! A spineless creature who didn't have the courage to even take up his responsibility! But it's good he is not there as a role model for my daughter! It's better to be fatherless than having a coward for one!"

I was dumbfounded by her reply! She was strong! Stronger than anyone could imagine! There was something about her that kept me attracted to her. The way she tied her hair to a loose bun and the way stray strands fell to her forehead and face. That was the most beautiful sight I ever saw! Her slender left arm had a sleek black watch and her right arm it had a sleek golden bracelet. Around her neck was a hardly seen slim golden chain. A simple beauty! An angel! An amazingly mentally strong angel! My angel!

In our third meeting I met her daughter! Oh she stole my heart! Yeah that little angel did! She was like her mom in every way! A mini Arohi! Pretty and unique! The moment I saw Aaliya I hoped she was my daughter! Aaliya's real dad was a real jerk and idiot to lose these two! My friendship with Arohi and Aaliya deepened with passing time and one day my little Aaliya asked me,

"Ajjunn, I call you papa?"

I didn't know what to say! But I nodded and a smiling Aaliya ran into my arms. Wow that was the moment! After hugging and kissing my little angel I got up to see her mom staring at me... admiringly! She was happy that her daughter called me papa. From that day onwards little Aaliya called me papa and her mom stole glances at me! Lucky me!

Now to the next phase of our story. Our bond tightened with Aaliya calling me papa. I asked Arohi out and she agreed. She was my girlfriend. Those were the times! Lunches, dinners and breakfasts! I used to crash at hers just to spend more time with her and our daughter! Along the side my novel was also progressing. Finally it came out last month. Not to mention that it did pretty good! Actually more than pretty good! I got a whooping success! Everything moved on quite smoothly.

Today? Today is Valentine's Day! If you are thinking I am going to propose her then you are wrong! We are past that! Today is our wedding! Yep! The D-Day! You have no idea how ecstatic I am today! Today is the day when I would be her partner and my daughter's papa legally. Do you know who my Arohi's maid of honour is? Yes our little Aaliya! I am standing in my wedding aisle watching at my girls coming towards me! The older one wearing a long white wedding gown with elbow length gloves on her hands. Her hair is put up into a bun with few strands falling to her face and shoulders. A pair of diamond studs on her ears and her neck left bare. And my little angel is wearing a cute white frock with a tiara of white carnations. I thought all this in this millisecond of time. I wondered how magically my life changed because of my one book! I met my angels because of that book!

My Arohi stand before me and we take our vows and keep on smiling at each other. Our little Aaliya give me the wedding ring which I put on her mama's finger and her mama did the same with me. And finally holding our daughter Aaliya in my left arm I sealed my relationship with a small kiss! There began the newest chapter of our life...
