As he reached the lounge he saw her...his eyes could not get off her...for a moment he felt himself lost in her...he saw her smiling and talking with the other two men...
"Manohar was right..." he said as he walked towards her...Kaka glanced at Veer "Mr Guncha this is Veer and Veer this is Mr Guncha and his assistant Chandni." Veer nodded "hello, Mr Guncha" then looked at Chandni...she looked as pure as ocean...her lips looked like rose petals...she looked like a morning breeze, he smiled at her "hello Chandni". Chandni had a different feeling when he gazed at her...she had never imagined with anyone in her life...there was something different about Veer...she smiled back "hi".
Kaka smiled at Veer "i was thinking we could have our own tea estate here...i was about to tell you this before but I wanted you to read the plan yourself...Mr Guncha will help you understand the plan easily"
Veer got furious inside and he never wanted to start this project...he wanted to cancel everything at once and leave back for Mumbai...but something unusual stopped him...something was attracting him to this place...he looked at Chandni who was busy opening the files...he smiled "sure Kaka"
Kaka was surprised...he was happy that Veer didn't say anything wrong, which he was expecting...
"i will go ahead with this project..." Mr Guncha forwarded the file to Veer to have a look but Veer again glanced at Chandni "well...i think the project would be fine...i don't have to look..."
Mr Guncha was pleased "thank you for trusting us...well I have arranged Chandni to look after this project...she has good knowledge about the tea gardens and different types of tea...i will come and check the site regularly but she will stay here four days a week that is from Thursday to Sunday, but other three days she will have to go back to Darjeeling for her college classes. I will be here the other three days...Is it possible for her to stay for the first few weeks as the work load will be lots and it won't be convenient to travel everyday."
Veer gazed at Chandni "that's absolutely alright...she can stay here as long as she wants" Chandni smiled at Veer casually unaware of his intensions, unaware of what he was thinking, unaware that she was entering his life... "thank you"
Mr Guncha handed over the files to Chandni...and explained her where to start from...the site was not so far from the house... Kaka asked Mr Guncha "so we should go and look at the site..."
Manohar was watching everything...he knew his friend liked Chandni... "Kaka you and Mr Guncha can come with me in this car...let Veer and Chandni come in another car..." Kaka smiled "sure...well its not so far...lets go Mr Guncha" they left while Chandni picked up all the files and put them in her bag...she got up form the couch and walked outside...she saw Veer was waiting for her...she quickly opened the back door of the car and kept her bag on the back seat...then sat next to the driver's seat... she didn't look at Veer even once...she was very professional and did not talk unless it was related to the project... Veer glanced at her as she was looking outside the window...
Soon they reached the site...neither spoke anything...it was silence between them but a strange feeling occupied on both sides...
Kaka was happy to see a huge land... "it will take lots of time to turn this land into a tea garden"
Mr Guncha smiled "i know Kaka sahib, but its not impossible..." he looked at Chandni "you know Kaka sahib...even Chandni wants to build her own estate one day...she is so ambitious girl..."
Kaka smiled "that is very good...so she will start from tomorrow??..." he looked at Chandni "will that be alright with you Chandni" Chandni was all excited "i will be happy Sir" Kaka came near her and kept his hand on her head "please call me Kaka..." she felt touched by his words...
Veer was least interested in the land and tea garden...all he was looking at was the beautiful girl standing a few feet away from him...he looked at her from top to bottom...for a moment he had lust in his eyes...but then he knew she is not like other girls...it will be difficult for him to even be friends with her...She was facing towards the site with the other two men...while Veer was gazing at her back... she looked so mesmerizing that he wanted to hold her from behind...her dark hair kissed her shoulders...he threw the car keys up in the air and caught them again "you will have to wait Veer" he said to himself...while smirkingly looked at Chandni...

It was dark outside when Chandni closed the window of her room...she heard some sounds but didn't bothered...she was usually scared of dark...she tried to sleep...then immediately opened her book to read...she looked at the time...it was 11 at night...she turned off the lights and slept peacefully without knowing about her fate...who knows her life would change forever in the next few days...she had packed up some of her stuff to stay at the clients place...as there was no other place close to the site...she didn't had any problems with sharing the house with her clients as it would be easier for her to interact with them and because they wanted to know everything by themselves so it was better for her stay with them for some time...She asked her Mother who trusted Mr Guncha...she knew he would never let Chandni stay in a unsafe place...she gave her the permission as she knew that this project was really important to her...though Chandni did not share any rapport with her Mother...but still she loved and respected her Mother a lot...
Next Day...
It was early morning when she got up and was all ready to leave for Kurseong... she made sure that she took all the important stuff with her...she called Mr Guncha and informed him about the paper work...he had sent the taxi for her...she made herself comfortable and kept her small bag just next to her... It was a not a bright morning...it seemed as If the dark clouds have occupied the whole space and soon there would be thunderstorm and lighting as if giving some signal of danger...
Chandni looked outside the window but she was thinking about her site...and the workers who won't work in this weather...she looked at her stole and adjusted it in place...she knew it would be raining so she wore her high boots over her blue jeans...a small leather jacket helped from the wind outside... she looked enormously beautiful as usual...
The car soon reached Kurseong...it started raining and the roads were slippery so the driver made sure to drive slowly and carefully... as they reached the house...the car was parked at the drive way... Chandni stepped out of the car...her umbrella was in her luggage...she quickly went towards the door and knocked twice...the driver helped to take her luggage... small drops of rain covered her black silky hair...small droplets of rain could be seen on her face...
she knocked again... he opened the door and looked at the beauty who was standing with her arms crossed and trying to cover herself from rain, Chandni looked at him "hi Veer...can I please come in"...then looked at the driver... "oh...yes please..." he said '..while she got her bag inside...she asked the driver to leave... "rains are so common here..." she said while looking towards the window in the lounge...she took off her stole and asked Veer "which room should I take??" Veer was till lost but in another second he answered her "that one is empty..." '..Chandni lifted her black bag "thanks" while she was about to lift the big suitcase... "let me pick this up" Veer said while coming closer to her... she went towards the room... it was a huge room...with a bed towards the window...a small table lamp next to bed side... a table and a chair...a huge wardrobe... she went inside the room...
Veer was now sure that she was different from the girls he had met in Mumbai...she didn't even bothered to talk to him or even look at him...he thought of not thinking about her and went towards the kitchen... "where is Kaka ?? and Mr Manohar??" Chandni asked Veer while she was rubbing her long hair with a white towel... Veer thought how could a girl look so beautiful all the time...her skin was glowing...she looked as if she has just landed from heaven...and standing in front of a devil... "they have gone to some market" '.. he said while searching for something... "wait" she said '.. "what are you making?" Veer glanced at her not wanted to meet her eyes as he knew he would definitely not be able to control himself and he might pounce on her... "nothing...i was..." Chandni walked towards him "tea...yes you were making tea??" Veer looked at her with a frown on his forehead...he never had tea in his whole life...and he knew he was searching for his bottle that Kaka must have kept... but he didn't wanted to open his mouth in front of this descent girl...he somehow wanted to be nice with her... "yes...you guessed it right" he said and smiled a little...Chandni rubbed her hands "i know when its so cold...tea helps..."
she came near to look at the vessel...then poured some water and turned on the gas... "where is the lighter??? hmmm or matchstick will do" Veer was now wondering to get rid of cold he opens the bottle and drinks the alcohol...he doesn't have to look for any lighter or matchstick...
"oh its here" she said picking up the lighter, and lighted the gas... "you should always put tea when the water starts boiling..." she placed her hands on her cheeks...Veer was gazing at her while she didn't look at him...
she poured the tea in two cups... "here...please have it" she said while passing the cup to Veer... in his whole life he never had tea...but he didn't feel like saying no to Chandni...he had a sip and coughed, as if something made his throat choked... "you didn't like it??" she asked surprisingly...
"its '.its very good..." he said...but he tasted for the first time...as if his tongue had tasted something strange but sweet...it didn't matter to him so much...all that really mattered was that a beautiful girl made a cup of tea for him...the girls he had met before always made him drink alcohol...
Chandni was just being little friendly with her client...for her it was her work and nothing more than that...she was dying to have a cup of tea in the cold weather when she saw the kitchen...she always loved to do small things herself... Veer was thinking about her while sipping the tea... "so you know lots about tea??" Chandni finished drinking "oh yes...i love tea...i mean drinking and making...and planting...and one day I will fulfill my dream"
Veer questioned "your dream??" '. "yes my dream...my dream of making a tea estate..." she said ambitiously...
