punar vivah help zee for strong trp

Small screen has got flooded with various new shows, each boasting to be better than the best. And if we talk about the success rate of channels as per the TRP bagged by their shows then it's again Star Plus which is ruling the rest.

However, this time Zee has got something to treasure for. It has been learnt that the channel has taken an edge over close rival Colors. Thanks to the newly launched Punar Vivah, starring Gurmeet Choudhary andKritika Sengar in the lead which has helped Zee in making a strong place in the TRP ladder. Afsar Bitiya has also contributed a lot. Owing to the fact, Zee has now got the third place in the TRP charts with 222 GRPs compared to its 210 GRPs last week (it was placed fourth).

While Colors, on the other hand, has slipped a place down from its last week's third position. Though it managed to gain more GRPs (201) this week (last week 193), yet it did not prove enough to move ahead of Zee TV.

Diya Aur Baati Hum (5.9), Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (4.4), Saath Nibhana Saathiya (4.3), Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon (4.0) all these shows from Star have helped the channel in lifting its head high.

Let's see if the coming week sees any change in the position!
