B P Singh is on a high these days. Apart from his show, CID that airs on Sony Entertainment doing well; there's something else that is keeping him happy. Bollywood's upcoming action spy film, Agent Vinod that stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, will have the ace director in it. B P Singh will play Saif Ali Khan's boss, the head of RAW (Research and Analysis Wing).
And though the gentleman has been associated with TV for nearly four decades now, this is first Bollywood venture. "If my acting is indeed appreciated, I would love to take up more roles. Why not?" he reveals to Tellychakkar.com.
Prior to this, he has done a cameo in CID. But this is his first for the big screen, "Sriram is a very dear friend and it is on his insistence that I have acted in this flick," says B P Singh. Sriram Raghavan, who penned many episodes of CID, is the Director of this Bollywood flick. The movie will hit the screens on March 23, 2012.
