Hey guys.. sorry for not updating for so long.. couldnt help it, because the internet at my home was goneee (and there was no one to fix it..) i had the parts all out, typed on a pen-drive but was unable to update (even at my uni) because i share tt pen-drive wit my bro (so had to leave it at home)... anyways, now that the internet at home is sort of fixed, i will try and update again, but only tomorrow night (because tmr i hav an exam in the afternoon at uni)... this msg was just to say sorry for making u guys wait so long... so guys..

Sorry for the long delay... i couldnt update as there was no internet at home, and at sch i am busy :) anyways.. my internet is now fixed... so i will try and update more regularly from now on... refer to my post on pg 39 of this topic if u want, i think its the 2nd comment from the bottom of the page (which makes it the 7th from the top:)

Part 5

"Yes, Akash. Tell our New York clients that we will reach there within the next 3 days. Since it is urgent, we have no choice but to go. You book our tickets immediately, for tonight if possible. If not book the tickets on the first flight out tomorrow morning." Arnav instructs Akash, after he tells him that there is some business problem in New York, for which they have to personally go and solve.

Akash is just about to do that when he realises that when Khushi's presence in Arnav's cabin reminds him that being Arnav's PA, she has to come along with them. "But Bhai, why only 2 tickets? Won't Khushi be coming along with us?"

"Use your brains sometimes, Akash. Khushi probably doesn't have a U.S. visa, and it definitely takes more than 2 days to get one done and approved. She can't come with us." Arnav looks at Khushi and smirks, happy to be away from her for a few days at least. Khushi glares at Arnav for calling her Khushi yet again, despite what she told him days back, but decides not to pursue the matter when she sees him glaring right back.

"Oh yeah. Okay then, I will book our tickets. And the hotel rooms too."

"Why would you do that? Let Khushi do it. She has to learn sometime na? Anyways, I have to discuss this New York business trip with you." Arnav tells Akash, then turns to Khushi to instruct her. "Khushi, book mine and Akash's flight tickets. First class or business class only. Then book our hotel rooms, in a hotel with 5 stars or a better rating. Understand? Now hurry up and get on with your task."

"Yess Mr Raizada." Khushi complies. But under her breath, she mutters, "Whatever, Lord Governer. Arrrggghhh!!!"

Fortunately for Khushi, Arnav doesn't seem to hear her, or he would have blasted her off again. With reluctance to follow Lord Governer's orders, Khushi gets on with the work she has been given. She pities her own condition.

Nearly 3 days later, Arnav and Akash finally land at New York's JFK airport. They just reach their hotel after the long flight and a meeting at the client's office immediately after landing when Khushi calls. Arnav silently swears at her for disturbing him when he was going to relax.

"What the!!! Why the hell did you call Khushi Kumari Gupta? Do you have to disturb me at this moment? Didn't you find any better time?" Arnav seems highly annoyed at Khushi, and nearly screams down the phone at her.

Khushi, the ever-dramatic one of course, holds the phone more than a metre away from her ears at hearing Arnav's loud voice. She gets annoyed right back, and speaks in a loud tone. "Yes Mr Raizada, I have to disturb you. It is very very urgent."

"Why are you shouting then? It's urgent but you can still say it in a softer tone, right?"

"Oh yes, I can. But I thought that you wouldn't be able to hear me. You yourself screamed down the phone at me, so I thought your years might still be blocked from the flight, and you might be deaf and unable to hear your own voice."

"What the...!!! Don't act smart okay!!!" Arnav cools down when Akash puts his hand on his shoulder and tells him to relax and speak softly. "Okay, Akash." He tells him, then talks back into the phone to Khushi. "What's the problem? Hurry up and tell me, I don't have time to talk to you. I need to go and relax."

Khusi replies, exasperatedly. "Well, Mr Raizada... Apparently along with being deaf, you have a weak memory too. You had scheduled the office renovators to come in today. Your's and Akash ji's cabins have to be redecorated, right?"

"Yes, but could you not have reminded me? Isn't that your job? You are my PA."

"True. But you really have a weak memory, Mr Raizada. The scheduling was done more than a month ago, before I even joint Raizada Industries as your PA. I had no clue of it until now, and you didn't even tell me anything about it for me to remember."

"Whatever, Khushi. Now listen. I am giving you the details now, so make sure you listen carefully. And remember to instruct the renovators accordingly... Akash and I have chosen the color scheme for the shades we want the walls painted for our respective cabins. The color scheme book, which you will find in the bottom drawer of my besk, is bookmarked to that page and labelled respective of our names. Please show that to the head supervisor. Keep our interiors the same, except for the posters and pictures that have been framed and kept in the corner behind the biggest file cabinet. And while you are at it, please get that file cabinet cleaned out and reorganized. At the same time don't forget to keep an eye on the renovators to make sure they are doing their work properly. Got all that?"

"Yes, Mr Raizada." Khushi replies with a slight yawn.

Arnav hangs up after giving Khushi complete instructions, which annoys her. "Mr Hypocrite Raizada." She talks to herself, "Who does he think he is, huh? He thinks I talk too much and doesn't like my chattering, but when he gives instructions he talks so much. What arrogance this Lord Governer has. Anyways, forget him. I know how I can get my revenge. And he won't be able to do anything about it...!!!" Khushi cooks up a plan in her head, and as she removes the colour scheme book from the bottom drawer, she starts putting it into action.

Later that evening, in Delhi... Khushi is doing settling some paperwork when Lavanya barges into the office.

"Arrrnaaav...!!! Arrrnnnaaavvv...!!! Where are you Arrrnnaaavvv darling?" Lavanya screeches, and everyone in the office laughs freely since Arnav is not there at the moment.

"Yes, Lavanya Darling. What do you want?" Khushi asks Lavanya, imitating her irritating voice, while going up to her and trying her best to control her laughter.

"Where is my Arrrnaaav darling?" Lavanya enquires, staring hard at Khushi.

But Khushi is no less, she stares Lavanya right back in the face and imitates her irritating voice. "Well Lavanya, your Arrrnnaaavvv darling is not here. He has gone overseas for a series of meetings with some important clients."

Lavanya tries to be sickly sweet so that Khushi gives her the details of Arnav's stay. "And may I know where he went?"

But Khushi once again manages to outsmart her. "No, you may not, Lavanya. Mr Raizada gave me strict orders not to let any outsider know the details of his meetings or stay, so I am afraid I can't help you at all."

"Arrrgghh!! Whateverrr." Lavanya gets pissed, and hurries off with her nose still in the air, trying to think of some plan to get details of Arnav's stay.

Back inside the office, Khushi is getting more and more annoyed thinking of Lavanya. "Something must be done to get rid of this Namoona. She can't just keep barging into the office like that. I really don't like Namoona. And for that, for once in my lifetime at least, I sympathize with Lord Governer. How much ever I hate him at this moment, I must help him get Lavanya off his back. But there is still some time for the 'girlfriend plan' to be put into place. What do I do till then? What do I do?..."

Khushi lightens up as she gets an idea, and starts punching in numbers on her mobile phone to make a call and get her new plan into action.

1 week later...

The meetings with the clients are finally over. With everyone happy and satisfied, Arnav and Akash return Delhi. But when they come to their office for the first time since their return, and enter their cabins, they get shocked to the core.

For Akash though, the shock is pleasant, while Arnav seems to boil in anger. "Miss Khushi Kumari Gupta...!!! Come in my cabin this very instant." Arnav screams for Khushi, and everyone hears his voice.

Akash too rushes to Arnav's cabin to see what the problem is, and to prevent him from getting his head too heated up. Every office worker looks at Khushi with a sympathetic look, silently wishing her good luck for having to confront Arnav in such a bad temper.

But Khushi doesn't gulp or swallow her own spit, or even lower her eyes. Instead, she stands tall and proud as she walks into Arnav's cabin, ready for a scolding but at the same time knowing that there is no way she can be fired.

This was such a funny chapter!!!!! Am really loving the nok joks between Arnav and Khushi...can't wait to find out what colour the office is painted!!!
