Trust Balaji Motion Pictures and White Feather Films, to come up with the most unique and innovative invite for the launch of their next film Shootout At Wadala.
Two men dressed as hawaldars from Bandra Police Station came to our office with a confidential letter from the Police Commissioner's Office asking our presence for the briefing of the current crime scenario in Mumbai city at Bandra's Mehboob Studio, where the makers of the movie will also present their statement on the shootout that took place at Wadala.
Considering that the film is set in the 1980s, the notice date also reads 1981.
Shootout At Wadala will be directed by Sanjay Gupta and star John Abraham as gangster Manya Surve, Anil Kapoor as ACP Isaque Bagwan, Sonu Sood as Dawood, Ronit Roy, Manoj Bajpayee, Kangna Ranaut and debutant Siddhant Kapoor (Shakti Kapoor's son).
