ArYa ' Rehab ' Motherhood : Love this show.

Achtung!

After a long time, I cannot afford to miss a single episode of a show that I am watching ( the other one being DEK for ManVeer). And here's why:

ArYa : 😍

Ladies and gentlemen, make way for Yash Scindia . The man who doesn't care what his dakiyaanoosi Mom thinks or fume over why nobody can raise their voices against her. He doesn't even hesitate in front of his caveman Dad to put his view and decision forward. No long lectures , no dramatic dialogues ' he simply says that if I bring a wife who is being told to let go of her own son, then, how will she love my daughters? PERIOD. And that nailed it for everyone. Caveman Dad smiles for different reasons . Daaku Mom looked like a defeated snake. Yash ki hone waali saasu maa became fidaa on her damaad only by hearing that one sentence. THAT is RESPECT, HONOUR , EQUALITY. All of which Yash is going to bestow on Aarti and Ansh as well. This is what makes you respect a man when he sees the other one as human as himself. Yash had made his decision clear ' Aarti will come to this house as his wife and as the Mom of Ansh, Paayal and Palak. Applause and respect to you, Yash.

Opposed to Yash's cold intelligence and isolated frozen emotionally fossilized nature, Aarti is a firebrand who is fairly exhibitive and demonstrative of what she feels. If you hit her, she will not avert her gaze or leave the room like Yash. She will lash back and she did today- at the thought of leaving Ansh behind. Screamed at her in-laws . At her own self . At her fate . At the dream that Ansh is seeing of having Yash as his Dad as he sleeps with Yash's picture under his pillow. Spending an emotionally wrought night by taking out her frustration and helplessness on Yash's picture that she didn't even once see. Little did she know that a few kilometers away, a few hours ago, this beautiful stranger had just fought for her rights and her happiness. Isn't life such a lovely box of chocolates ? Surprises everytime you pick up one and pop into your mouth.

ArYa are on the way to a most UNWANTED marriage that is devoid of love, feelings, emotions , or anything that binds one human being to another ' yet , they have no idea that fate is weaving them and their lives with the same silk thread. You feel it when Yash stands up for Aarti even when he doesn't know her name. Aarti keeps running into Yash's picture ' under her son's pillow, holding the picture as she cries , in her almirah ' almost like fate is telling her that wherever you go, Yash's network follows. He is hesitant to see her picture , she doesn't want to see her picture and yet their lives have fallen in line with the plan of Providence . Even in the last scene , when Yash doesn't give her the side to scoot off, and ultimately does , you see that Yash may be a difficult man to her later but he will always make way for her , like he did today by shutting up his Daaku Mommy.

And ah, that smile which Yash gave Ansh as the child turned back to see him once Aarti has scooted ahead. It was almost like life had turned and grinned at Yash and a smile spread across his cold face , almost saying ' "Hey! I know you, right?"

REHAB :😡

Uff! Maine na Yash ki Daaku Mommy aur uske AadiMaanav Dad ko TV mein ghuss ke 2-3 coconut punch maar dene hain. Is that AadiMaanav some Don gone wrong????? He wants Aarti to bring Ansh so that she washes their feet in gratitude and suffocates under their EHSAAN? Uncle ke dimaag mein slim yoghurt bharaa hai kya? Aarti is a HUMAN BEING and not BONDED LABOUR. And that Daaku Mommy! She thinks she is the writer of Aarti and Ansh's destiny? That tone, that arrogance , that attitude! Woman! Aarti is no cow and I hope you and ur khotaa hubby get to see 'Jhaansi Ki Rani' LIVE! Ermmm'. Are Yash, Bade Bhaiya and Pratzy ADOPTED?

MOTHERHOOD: 🤗

I know we all loved Aarti and Ansh's jalebi scene but my heart warmed at Aarti and her Mom's scene. Its such a beautiful relationship and so intense. Aarti is not her blood but she is her daughter from another lifetime ' there is such Deja vu to this bond? The way Aarti goes totally badtameez and mad at her Mom when Ansh 'separation-hysteria hits her ' you can only do that with your Mom. The way her Mom writes her a letter and cools her temper , elevating Yash alongwith making her smile in tears. Haaye! Maa aisi hi hoti hai na?

P.S- This show DESERVES to be a blockbuster and I hope it gets its much deserved success and applause. It's a show that CONNECTS and that is reason enough for the audience to give it a chance.

Love and luck always,❤️

GOD bless everyone. 🤗

Loved your post as always. Tonight finally I have something substantial to say about Yash, as a bit more light was thrown on him. I totally loved the dialogue " Jo apne bachche ko chod kar ayegi ,wo meri bachchiyon ko kya apnayegi?" One line and end of all arguments... It was neither preachy nor emotional, yet you cant argue with the logic. So Yash is a man of very few but effective words. Then we got a glimpse of Yash's past, and how normal and easy going he was, watching the photograph of his future wife lovingly, as happens in arranged marriages😆. Then contrast it with Yash's reluctance to turn over the photograph of the women who is going to be his wife. GC was very good in this scene. I am loving how understated he has been in this character. The small nuances he brings to Yash, just make the character so much more poignant. The photo scene on whole was very well done. Aarti seeing the photo finally, but Yash still not giving in. Then skip to last part. I loved that too. First Yash's a bit irritated expressions on continous horns, then when scooty overtakes him,a moment of understanding, and finally a little smile on seeing Ansh punching his fists in victory. Loved GC in that scene too. Sorry for discussing so much Yash/GC, but cant help it as finally we saw more of him.

Besides Yash, I find the character of Yash's Dad interesting. Yash's mom is selfish to the core is established by now. But his father, he is a bit more tricky. Esp when he said that their daughter in law would remain grateful and submissive, and it would be WRONG to expect more from her. Seems like he is not the one to bother about petty issues, he thinks long term. He is sharp.

Thank you. 😳...Yupp, Yash will take Ansh under his wing and i think that is one of the things that will make Aarti fall in love with Yash. 😃

Thank you and i loved what you said about GC/Yash👏. GC has caught the vein that he has to play Yash as an understated character who gulps everything and keeps himself bottled. He really has led poignancy to Yash's character.
Yash's Aadimaanav Dad seems like trouble - you know that slow slow brewing coffee? Yeah, like that.
