Hi all
I almost missed this thread😕. I have a suggestion. Can we make sure we include the phrase "episode <no.> discussion" or something else unique so we know what to look for? Of course I did see Mayu's name. Maybe something like Devil's Den title. Else we do seem a little lost in the forum dicussions.😕
ok now for the episode. There was some major disappointment from me today. Though I knew Yash's family was conservative I never expected them to come out with such an outrageous sharth. Many in the forum had suggested it. But all of us realised that such a thing is as outlandish as my guess for the sharth ( one year trial period or something like that).😲 My advice to Arthi would be of course a whole hearted "Don't do it". Even if they change their minds bcos of Yash as the precap indicates.
Its not worth it Aarthi..Not even for someone as handsome and Hot as our dear Yash. Who in their sane mind will trade such an adorable goddess of a sasuma😍 for Yash's mom 😡who unfortunately is shaping up into the Ekta sasuma that we were all dreading and hoping she would not be.😲 Even if Yash convinced them what they were doing was not fair after they get married the mom will still feel Ansh as a paraya only. And that does not bode well for Arthi or Ansh.
Though I have heard many people say it is the guy we should be considering not his mom, usually and especially in this case where they are living together in such a joint family set up and where Yash does not want a wife anyway it is his whole family Arthi will be marrying. Even if for some reason, say he was worried about the same thing his mom suggested, that she would not be able to pay attention to these kids, Yash had suggested this condition it must have been his mom being a mom who must have told him how it is a paap to separate mother and child. And here she herself is proposing such a thing. 😲Find a girl who has a child already so she knows how to be a good mom then take that child away from her😲😲. I can't for my life see the logic in it. 😕Doesn't it make sense to look for a girl who was not married or at least didn't have any kids in the first place.I am finding it difficult to come out of this to discuss the rest of the episode.
The reasons Arthi FIL gives to her MIL regarding hiding the truth from Yash family was along the lines people have been discussing in this forum. And I don;t think he is being selfish or something. He too is in many ways as genuine as his wife but not necessarily as principled. Some would call it being practical. Arthi's MIL has put all our fears in open and though not completely convinced somewhere she sees the weak logic in her husband's argument.
Didn't like Yash's dad's comment about a guy not weeping over a girl but can put up with it considering he is from a conservaive BG. But he was also saying that a woman can live without a man but not vice versa. That statement confused me as to where he stands.😕Was he trying to say that a man should always have a woman doing his seva?maybe. I don't think he can think too progressive. Yash didn;t see the photo and said yes. Interesting.
Yash was looking his brooding self. Hardly any dialogues as usual. He was looking delectable in that white kurta of course.☺️ And he has his rings still?hmmm. Loved the brother bonding. Yash you better stop moping around and giddy up man. Cos you have your wife to be to support soon.
I simply adored the interaction between Aarthi and her MIL. She is more than even a mother and I more and more want Aarthi to not go ahead with this. But unfortunately mera kaun suntha hei. Hope Yash provides more than enough support for Arthi cos I stand by Aarthi's statement when she says she is not such an obedient DIL that she will do something stupid just bcos her MIL wants her to. And to go through another separation too after putting so much at stake is another sad thing. Please makers give us som nice happy moments before the tears start flowing.😭

@Paro :Actually one episode discussion thread is already in sticky ..so we cant give a similar name to this thread but we will soon give it some exclusive name for sure ..dont worry 😳...and yup even I dont want Aarti and her MIL ka bonding to get over ,..I hope it continues even after her remarriage 😳
@All:Yesterday Yash's father confused me a bit with his dialogues ..I dunno if its the mistake of the dialogue writer or this character of father is a bit complicated one 😕..first he tells Yash that he should not waste his tears for a women for so long where he indirectly tries to indicate that men r more strong than women ,so those tears for a women are not worth it 😡...but then in next minute he tells Yash that a woman can alone spend her entire life but a man will always need the support of a woman in his life which means he is trying to indicate that women are more stronger than man but a man is weak and needs a woman at every point of life 😉...so his dialogues r quite a contradiction in this case ..hai na 😕😕...Mayb CVs r trying to keep his character a bit complicated and not really a hypocrit 😕

@Jyo: I think the father is saying that men need women to survive because of their functionality, ie the jobs they do. Women can do a "man's job" with a lot less stigma than men can do a "woman's job" in the eyes of somebody like Yash's father. However, while he believes that men are dependent on women for practical things, they should not get emotionally attached and as dependent as Yash. So basically Yash is sort of an anomaly when it comes to his parents because both of them seem very cold and calculative and think only from the head, while Yash thinks and acts with his heart.

PS: You are opening the thread today, right? 😊

Urm Agree with you all pretty much.

Good Episode but hated Yash's mother she is so hypocritical and so ridicuslous. Didn't like the Father either and his views...

I think Arya will be a good when they get married as its obvious that their families have different views to them.

Sam chale jane ke bad can be anything either she is dead or she moved on. Really yash father's dialogues were lil cofused as jyo said in one context he said women can live without men but men cannot live without the support of women. Sam may be. let us see. Both yash mother & father are lil complicated.
