Hello all,
Overall, it was a good episode. I feel it was well-balanced, with different points of view on a situation.
While Vijay & J used it as an opportunity to add fuel to the fire, Uday & DS used is at as a boost for their plan. Brijraj & Komal illustrated their differences & how they believe in teaching their child differently. Brijraj believes in punishment, while Komal believes in being tender & nice.
Despite all that, the 2 people that stood out for me in today's episode were Uday & Komal.
Komal, the mother.
Often, many people say that it is difficult to take up different roles in our life, at the same time, as we often end up doing injustice to one. Komal illustrated just that. She is a mother, & will always be a mother. A mother who is blinded in her daughter's love that she cannot see beyond her daughter's pain. It is both selfless & selfish at the same time. It is selfless, because she overlooks everyone's pain, her own pain of 16 years, & can only see her daughter's physical pain. It is selfish because she expects everyone to do the same.
Is she justified? YES, she is. Afterall, a wait of 16 years is long. However, is she wrong? YES, she is. Both as a queen & a mother. Being a mother is not just about giving your child the best, but it is also about teaching your child the most valuable things, even though it might hurt him/her. If you don't allow your child to go through any pain, he/she will never learn. Because we learn from our mistakes.
I really hope Komal will not tell Manyata about the plan, because she might then save her daughter from the current pain, but in the long run, it will hurt everyone, including Manyata.
Uday, the prince
When i saw the 1st scene & how Manyata nearly smashed Uday's heart, i was worried for Uday. But wow look at him in the last scene & you won't even realise what happened. There is 1 thing that everyone should learn from Uday & that is being positive. Despite Manyata's mention of Akash, all Uday could remember was that she did not fight with him. She called him a friend. The fact that they are growing closer.
Uday always asks Manyata " tum kis mitti ki bani ho"
But, today, i really want to ask Uday that question.
He was truly a prince, today. A confident prince, who has full faith in himself & his plans to make Manyata his.
The Uday, today, just proved that he is still as cool. (Many were complaining that he has lost his attitude) Yes, he might be in love with Manyata, but he is still in control, & we just love Uday for that.
ManVeerians, don't be disheartened by what Manyata did. Look at the positive. She was so calm, when Uday touched her. She didn't fight. One step towards growing closer, definitelyđ
