Karan's Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna is set to release on August 11. The young director is racing against time to complete the shooting of his film. A huge set has been put up at Yash Raj Studios to shoot the remaining portions of the film - The Rock N Roll song and a few scenes are still to be shot.
Stressed out!
On June 30, one day before the shooting began, Karan was seen supervising the completion of his set. The Rock N Roll song has the complete cast of the film — Rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta, Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek and Amitabh Bachchan. "I am quite stressed about finishing this and completing the film on time," said a harrowed Karan.
Shoot cancelled
Yesterday, the shooting of KANK's song was cancelled due to the downpour. At 1 pm, Karan took a call to cancel the shooting. Though Preity and Abhishek turned up, Rani and Shah Rukh were stuck in traffic and looked like they wouldn't be able to make it to the shooting for a few more hours. A concerned Karan, not willing to take the chance of having his cast and crew getting stranded if the rains got worse, decided to cancel the shoot.
Knee-deep in water
We spoke to a very hassled Karan, who said, "We have packed up and now I am heading home. We were shooting at Yash Raj Studios in Andheri and all the lanes and bylanes are flooded. My car is trying to navigate its way out through knee-deep water. Now, there's water even inside my car."
