Agreed! The costumes department really is doing a fabulous job. The wardrobe for both the leads is extremely natural and goes with the current fashion without being too over the top, like most Indian dramas can be. I am glad Aarti wears light weight, simple slawars, with barely any jewelry, because that look just fits her!

And even in Yash's house, his mother and bhabhi despite being from an upper class family, dress in a simple and comfortable manner. No heavy, banarsi saaris, or ridiculously large gold sets even at home. It gives a very homely and beautiful look to all the characters.

And on top of the costume department, the makeup people are pretty fantastic as well, especially the ones who do Aarti's make up. So soft, natural and just fits her skin tone so well that in some scenes it really looks like she has nothing on. Every time I watch Friday's episode, I am in awe of how beautiful she looks. Especially in the scene where both Yash and Aarti are shown deep in thought with the BG score playing (after Yash gets the lipstick note), she looked stunning there. And then the dargah scene, where she is praying and Yash's mom is looking at her, they did a close up of her and it was truly beautiful. I hope they keep up with this light theme, because really no one in today's time dresses up like they're going to a wedding on an everyday basis!
