Ganga telling Jothi that Jothi can be sent to abacus school for trying to bribe. Rasamma comes running to Ganga wanting her to take the money. Rasamma gets a good whack on her back from RV. VandhavaLukku aRivu illai, veetula irukkira unakkumaa he asks Rasamma (ennaikku Rasamma had brains??)Rasamma says even her husband has never hit her, only if he was there is RV's reply. He ran away the day he married Rasamma. She bumps on to Kappu on the way, who asks her to go inside. Rasamma leaves crying. Kappu comes to Jothi and asks her how dare she come home to try and bribe Ganga. (appO officela try paNlaamO) Just because Jothi happens to be the in-laws of their in-laws she escaped, otherwise she would have got the same poojai that her sister Rasamma got. SK comes downstairs, tells his mother to leave it . Calls for the periyavar, asks him to take his basket, tells never to believe anyone who says that they are the relatives of SK & Ganga, and most important never give money. He asks the elderly man to take his money from Jothi and leave. Jothi is all angry. Ganga says she will rest the matter, warns Jothi not to behave like this ever. (indhammathaan ellaathulEyum villi - idhu engittu thirundhum!!) Ganga also gives her a warning never to mix relationship and her job, never to recommend such matters. Jothi in a huff goes with her chithappa. (How did ayya vouch this family to be good??)

Ayya's house. AKA's parents and Jothi come. They have printed the wedding invitations, have come to give the first invite to sambandhis. Ila is asked to get the thaamboola thattu by Naachch. When Mrs & Mr Muthiah get up to give the thaambola thattu the invitations fall. They all say it is laabam (printing pressukkuthaanE??) The invitation with the thattu is given to ayya & Naachch. Naachch is very excited looking at the invitation, she hugs & kisses Charu. Ila takes the invitation from Naachch to see if she too is getting excited. Finds all their names but feels there is something missing in the invitation. Naachch is grinding her teeth. Ila wants Naachiyaa IAS to be added to her name. Ila is shut by Naachch. Ayya asks them to have something to eat. They want to leave. Ila says she has cooked. Jothi wants to leave just because of that reason. Ila claims her hands are clean unlike theirs darkened by bribes. Ayya asks Ila what rubbish is she talking. Jothi feels Ila might let out her trying to bribe Ganga, says they just do that Ila and she would keep talking like this for fun. Ila refutes.

Ila starts telling the story of Jothilakshmi going to Ganga's house with an envelope. Jothi says it was the wedding invitation. Muthiah intervenes to say the invitations came only today and they have come to give the first invite to ayya, how could have Jothi gone to Ganga's house. Jothi's turn to grind her teeth - mind scolding her brother - gnyathukku porandhavan, eduththu kudukkiraan. Ila continues her pOttu kuduththing. Ayya asks if Jothi did do that. Jothi thought since they are relatives Ganga might help instead she spoke so ill and dumped her out. Ayya says just because it was Ganga she dumped her, if it was ayya he would have whacked her. Mrs.Muthiah scolds Jothi for making them hang their heads in shame. Naachch says never mind sambandhiyamma, this happened without your knowledge. Let bygones be bygones. Muthiah family takes leave.

Rama and JC arrive with the invitations for Charu's wedding. Ayya and Naachch welcome them. Charu is called for, Vadivu & Sara come too. Charu is given the invitation to see. She looks at it , gives a shy, happy smile. All assembled look at her. Rama says Charu has got the "wedding branch". Rama further says that Charu has put on weight having food cooked by periamma. Ayya joins in saying he never noticed it. Charu says if he too is joining them in teasing her, she would go back to Ayakudi. Now again all of them tease saying Charu is getting angry. Vadivu says that only if she is at Ayakudi she can talk to AKA without anyone noticing. Vadivu says Sara bought Charu a mobile phone so that she can talk to AKA.

Karthik & Ila watch from their room. Ila comes out asking karuvappaiyaa for the 3 G phone she had requested long time ago. (2G padrapaadE sirippaa sirikkudhu - 3G vErayaa) Asks Rama if they have got the invitations printed. Actually Ila & Karthi wanted to do it. Naachch says never mind, now get a chain, ring, bracelet and watch all in gold for the maappu. Karthik scolds Ila for vaai vitting. Ayya puts a coma to the fight - continue later he says. Now what next he asks Naachch. First keep the invitations in the pooja room, next the first invitation should be to their kula deivam Ganga devi, pongal padaichching then distribution of invitations. Ayya feels it is correct. Karthik begins - how can our kula deivam be theirs, don't know their kulam, gothram, samoogam. All that is the same as yours shouts back Naachch. Whatever is the husband's kulam gothram is the same for wife and children. Karthik wants to know what would they answer maama. What will Kula do asks Ayya, wants Sara to sharpen the Tirupaachchi aRuvaaL and keep it in the car the next day. Karthik gets scared. Says he has to go to Madurai to buy maNNkudhirai (aathula vidavaa??) While going in he knocks his head on the door. Ila runs to help him. Saravanan is asked to get all the things ready for the trip to kula deivam temple.

Karthik runs to Kula - shouts that both side invitations are ready. But Kula is sitting unworried. Kula is waiting for a proper time. Before Charu gets on to the altar he will get it. This time he is not going to tell Karthik of his plans. Karthik is very eager to know the plans. He says that Subbu and family are going to their kula deivam to keep the invitations and pray. (how can ayya's kula deivam be Kula's?) Kula feels they have got a very good trump card. Kula wants Karthik to create problem at the pongal padaichchings. Subbu will cry and tell her parentage etc etc...

friday episode - 18/2

Ayya family go to their kulatheivam gangga dewi temple to do archanai for charu wedding card. There they meet another couple doing pooja at the temple. Ayya asks them whether they are outsider coz only Ayya family and samugham will do prayers at this temple. The couple said that they are outsider, they came to thanks gangga dewi for helping them the day before when their car was broke down and their daughter was in emergency for delivery. Ayya family is happy that their kulla dewi has helped them. Illa sadly saying that Gangga dewi helps outsider but never give darisanam to her as her own people. Vadivu says God will only help good people not people with crooked mind...

Later, ayya ask Subhu to prepare for Charu wedding card prayers but Kartik stops her saying that Subhu and his family cannot do any prayer at his kulla dewi temple. He wants to know what is Subhu previous kulla thevam. Nachiar asks whether he wants to dig Subhu history and Kula ask him to do it so. Nachiar says that the moment Subhu married to Ayya, gangga dewi becomes her kula thevam as well. Gangga also said that since Subhu children are from Ayya blood, gangga dewi is their kula theivam. If Kartik refuse to accept that, then Kartik also cannot pray to gangga dewi. Subhu scolds Gangga, not to talk rudely to her annan kartik..Ayya gets angry and says that Kartik as elder need to do the poojai and get the mudhal mariyathai but if he refuse and creates problem then, he calls Sara and ask to take over Kartik role. Illa shocks and scold Sara for replacing his brother. Illa persuades Kartik to do the pooja as she doesnt want to loose the mudhal mariyadhai title. Kartik relunctly do the pooja and pray to Gangga dewi to stop Charu wedding at any cost. He pray that he will light up any lamps including street lamp if Charu wedding is stopped... 🤢(aiyoh kadavule)

At Nachiar house, ayya and Sara preparing list for wedding card delivery. Subhu calls Nachiar and asks her to company her to Vaithesvara temple as she has pray for Charu wedding. Nachiar refuses to tag along as she is very busy with Charu wedding preparing and need to go with ayya to deliver wedding card. She ask Subhu to bring Illa and Subhu ok with it. At first lla refuses to go with Subhu, scares that her father wont be happy, but after Nachiar said that all her venduthal will happen if she prays at Vaithesvara temple, she happily agrees to company Subhu to temple. Ayya gave money to Illa and ask her to go straight away...

Meanwile at Subhu house , Kula comes there and threathen her to reveal the thruth about herself. He accuses her for using Nachiar to get all her daughters marry and leave happily in Gangga new house. He shouts at her to accept that she is the Kula's father second wife daugther. Subhu shocked and thiru thiru mulika... Kula demand her to tell the thruth otherwise he will not spare and kill her... Subhu unable to take Kula hyper shouting and presurre faints and falls down and hurt her head on the table. Kula gets scare and cheking her breathing and FREEZE with Kula shock face...

Ila arrives in an auto to Subbu's house with conch blowing BGM. Rings the bells calls Subbu athai - no response. Tries the door and finds it locked. (Did Subbu change house recently?)Next Ila calls Subbu's hand phone, no response. The landline is tried again no response. Ila wonders where did Subbu go when she has specifically informed her of her coming over. Next Ila calls Naachch. Gets scolded by Naach - maybe Ila went there late, so Subbu could have left for the temple. Ila leaves saying something seems to go wrong whereever she goes. Night time. SK seeing photos of twins on his laptop. Ganga too joins him. He has photoshopped on how his twins should look. (naan kadavuL nu nenappO) SK asks if Ganga wants the babies to be like him or her. Andhamma answers that she wants the babies to be like her mother. ( kizhinjudhu pO - oru mada saambraaNiyE engaLaala thaangamudiyala) Ganga starts singing in praise of her mother. SK paavam is like us. He feels atleast the twins can look like them, but Ganga insists must also look like her mother (idhu rombavE too muchu) SK calls his parents for mediating. RV asks why shouldnt the child resemble them, jovially. Ganga says it was all SK's handiwork. Kappu tells Ganga to call her mother and find out her mother's wishes. Ganga calls, the handphone rings inside Subbu's house - on the dining table along with a set of new clothes there.

Next Ganga tries the landline. Again no response. SK asks maybe she is asleep. Ganga is sure that Subbu wouldnt go to sleep so soon. And she would keep the handphone next to her expecting their calls. Ganga is scared. Kappu asks her to call Naachch, because she might have gone to some temple with Naachch, Subbu keeps visiting temples often. Ganga does call Naachch who tells that Subbu must have gone to Vaideeswaran temple, Naachch forgot to inform Ganga. Subbu should be back the next day.

RV, Kappu leave to their room. SK moves away. Ganga thinks to herself that her mother has never gone anywhere without informing again with the conch blowing BGM (Subbuvukku sangaa??)

Rama calls, the phone is switched off comes the operator's voice. She calls JC and tells that Kula's phone has been switched off, he hadnt come in the morning or for lunch. And it is already night. JC tells her not to worry. MA who comes there is a little worried. MA tells that Kula never ever switches off his phone - why now? Just to confuse people as is his habit retorts JC. Kula's car arrives. Kula enters the house with a conch and weird BGM, his head bent - worried. Rama looks at him and then at MA. MA also wonders about Kula's looks. Rama looks down and asks he has entered the house without removing his footwear. JC & MA watch. Kula goes and removes his footwear. Comes back to give a " engappan kudhirukkuLLa illa" look.

Rama asks him what is wrong? Usually he would remove his footwear at the doorstep, call her Subbu's daughter but today he is unusually quiet. He has no answer except for thiru thiru muzhichings. Rama asks him to wash his hands and come for dinner. He drops the water that Rama gives for washing his hands, Rama helps him with another round of water in the sombu. He does as instructed. Kula sits to eat. Rama serves him and asks why he turned off the phone and never came the whole day. Kula is prodded again by MA, says he has some important work. JC wants to know what that important work was and why is Kula looking so tensed? Kula replies that he is not tensed. Rama asks him to eat instead of just mixing the rice. The first mouthful and Kula chokes. Drinks water. MA asks aloud as to who would be thinking of him? Pat comes Rama's reply - who else other than madasaambraNi Subbu. Kula once again has the EKI look. Rama thanks Kula for attending Charu's engagement. JC asks her to remain quiet. Kula is tensed and confused he says. They want to know the problem so that they can help him. Kula knows to solve his problems is his reply. MA wants to know what should be their gift to Charu for her wedding. Give whatever may please you is Kula's reply. He leaves the dinner table midway. Washes hands and leaves without wearing his footwear. JC wonders what is wrong /what is troubling his father who usually is the root cause of wrong and trouble...

An auto approaching Subbu's house with the conch blowing BGM. (oodhara sanga ozhunga oodhi tholaingadaa) JC, Rama & MA get out of the auto to ring the bell. The bell is unanswered. JC tries the door, it is locked. Each one takes turn to call athai, amma, aNNi. MA wonders where Subbu could have gone? Rama calls Subbu's handphone - keeps ringing. The handphone is on the dining table amidst new clothes, flowers, fruits etc. (But wont atleast one of the daughters' have a duplicate key to the house?? - enna ammaavO, enna poNNungaLO??) Where could she have gone at this hour they wonder (adhu endha hournu theriyaadhu - dont ask doubts to me) Rama says maybe to Naachch periamma's house. She calls there. Naachch answers the phone to say Subbu has gone to Vaitheeswaran kovil. Naachch forgot to tell Rama. But amma did not inform me says Rama. Must have forgotten is Naachch's supportive line. Rama forgot her medical reports at Ayakudi - the last time she went to the doc with Subbu. Today is checkup, so, Charu has another set of keys. Please pass it through someone requests Rama. Naachch says she will bring it herself and also accompany to the doc. Rama already has JC & MA along, so only the key will do. Oh ok then replies Naachch, she thought Rama was making the trip alone. (Seema's acting is simply superb) Naachch would send the keys through Ila. MA & JC get updated on Subbu's trip (adhu one way ticketaa nu sollitholaingappa - naanga vEnaa unga sangu BGMkku maNi adikkirOm) and keys being sent through Ila. The trio wait outside. The camera zooms in on the photo of Subbu in the house with the same conch blowing BGM.

Rama has never seen her mother's house locked, a kind of uneasy feeling has set in she laments to MA. How can the house be kept unlocked when going to another town questions MA, asks Rama not to keep worrying for such small things. Ila arrives singing some song. Gets scolded by MA for not making it early. JC takes the key - the jingbang enters the house. Rama goes in to bring the report while the rest wait in the hall. No one notices the things left on the dining table. Ila too is to accompany them to the hospital. Rama with her report and all of them make it to the door when Subbu's handphone rings. They all turn to look for the phone. Rama takes the call, some advt. She finds 2 missed calls from Ganga too. It is ok, maybe she forgot is MA's take. Ila comes around the dining table, telling her mother, it is okay if Subbu forgot the phone, but she has left all the things that had to be given at the temple and also her change of dress on the dining table. Ila is scared that something could have happened to Subbu. Rama gets scared. Ila is scolded for scaring Rama. JC says always discount Ila's talks. They leave for the hospital, Rama's sari pallu knocks off Subbu's photo which falls down and breaks. The deaf jingbang just leaves.

The foursome arrive at the hospital and seat themselves. JC spots the nurse and says have an appointment to meet the doc. The nurse asks for the file - JC asks Rama for the file. She is in her own lala land. Ila shouts Rama, she lands on Mother Earth. Give the file says Ila, what file questions Rama (suththam) MA says the file that is lying on Rama's lap. The nurse asks if Rama is unwell, Ila answers thats why they have come to see the doc. The nurse vanishes into the doctor's cabin. JC asks Rama what is bothering her. She is thinking about her mother who forgot the phone, the pooja items, left even before Ila could join her which was the original programme. Ila is thoughtful. My mother would not have left like that she says very confidently. Ila wanted to tell it that time itself but appa only stopped me, would something have happened to athai she innocently asks. (I think I heard her say appa) MA scolds her for fanning Rama's fears. Rama wants to have a word with Ganga.

JC calls Ganga. Rama updates about her visit and the pooja items lying on the dining table. Tells Ganga that she is feeling very scared. Ganga is worried too. Who are with Rama, Ganga wants to know. JC, MA & Ila - then dont worry, Ganga takes up responsibility of Subbu. Wants Rama to call after the checkup is done. Rama is called for by the doc. Ila, MA & Rama go in. The doc checks Rama, questions why so much of tension. BP is so high. The doc advises that it is not good for the child if she becomes so tensed. Subscribes medicine because Rama does not want trips (BP raise aanaa tripsaa??) They leave, but just before Ila goes out the doc asks about Vadivu. Ila says why not asking about Ila who is here but about Vadivu who is at home, what is so special ? You will get to know it soon says the doctor waving bye bye to all of them.

MA says this is 5th month for Rama, so should make 5 mixed rice. Ila says will wait until Subbu returns . Rama wants to make a trip to Vaideeswaran kovil. MA says she would come in two days, so why worry, MA is there for Rama. Ila goes home calling for Vadivu. No answer. This karuvapaiyya is also missing goes Ila sitting on the swing. She wonders aloud as to why the doctor was asking for Vadivu's wellbeing? Maybe Vadivu is preggie before Ila she worriedly thinks...

Nachiar home – everyone takes a position behind a tunne sitting sadly. Nachiar is polambing and asks them to say something on Subhu missing. Ganga says that they have looked/searched around for Subhu but could not find her. In additional Charu wedding also nearing. Sara suggests to Ayya to inform mapley family about the issue. Nachiar and Muthuarasi ask them to be patient until Subhu returns.But Ayya orders Gangga to inform mapley family before they find out from someone else.

At nite some policemen come to Gangga house. Gangga and her husband lodge informal report on her mother missing. They request the police to search for Subhu secretly and inform her time to time on the progress.

Mapley house – Gangga, Vadivu and Nachiar ajar . They inform mapley family about Subhu missing for past 1 week. Mapley father is shock and asks them why they never inform him earlier. Nachiar says that they were expecting Subhu will back in few days. Jothi asks whether Subhu will return or not. Gangga is very sure that her mum will return. Mapley father says that they also will search Subhu together and at the same time proceed with Charu wedding plans. They also can conduct a simple wedding at the temple if Subhu doesnt return until then. Jothi against the idea saying AKA is the only son and wants to have agrand wedding. Nachiar is very sure that the wedding will take place accordingly. Jothi ask Gangga whether she will continue with the wedding even her mum does not return. Vadivu is very irrirates with Jothi and tells her that the wedding will happen with or without Subhu. Gangga is very confirm that her mum will there for the wedding

Nachiar home again – Nachiar inform Ayya about mapley house decision and co-operation. Illa intervenes saying that she also has part in informing mapley house on the issue. As usual vadivu shuts her. Illa requests ayya to ask Charu on her decision on the wedding. Ayya asks Charu opinion having the wedding as per said date. Charu tells Ayya that she does not agree to have her wedding without her mum. Ayya console her saying that Subhu will defitnetly return for her wedding. Ayya says that their true pasam will bring back Subhu to them again. Charu asks Ayya, whether they will proceed with the wedding even her mum didnt turn up. Ayya unable to anwser her and looks vitting Gangga sadly. Gangga consoles Charu and tells her to accept perianvannga advices. Muthuarasi also consoles Charu and tells that she will stop praying to God is Subhu fails to return home. Charu said how to marry without her mum presence... Freeze

Charu would be very happy if her mother returns for her wedding, but what if she does not. They show an old building with the weird BGM in a weirdly focused lens.(Subbu is probably kept there) Charu continues how can she get married in peace (Charu nee andha AKAva kalyaNam senjaa your life piece piece thaan!!) MA tells Charu that she is going to be wedded soon, she should not cry - MA says it crying - LOL. Do not think absurd things she says, adding that puNyavathi Subbu is being tested by God(hulloo... avanga puNyavathiyaa... engaLukkellaam appO enna pEru???) MA tells ellaam nallapadiya mudiyum.(engittu mudiyudhu - each kalyaaNam is taking 13 months) Even Ganga & Rama's marriage had so much confusion prefixed. Now JC joins in gyaan session. This wedding will take place and Subbu athai will be back he assures. Rama's turn to ask Charu not to cry. If Charu cries then she herself, Ganga akka, appa all will break down (the best joke of the serial - Charu is the youngest, you guys are expected to support her not vice versa) Rama too assures that amma will give her in marriage. The old building (thank God it is not dilapitated) bearing the name board "kOthaNdam sidhdha Hospital" (adhu verum dhaNdam maadhiri irukku) Finally Subbu is shown lying unconscious on one of the beds.

Saravanan's turn to gyaan Ottufy. (thaangalaingadaa neenga pEsi pEsi uyir edukkaradhu) He says chinnamma will come back to them soon, what if their search went in vain. Vadivu joins the chorus - whatever the elders do would be for their good, so now Charu has to convey her acceptance joyfully (vadivu unakku Ila kaaththu adichidichchaa.. comedy seyyara) Naachch has faith in God who will help in this wedding taking place. Ganga repeats Vadivu's statement in different words. Ila's mind voice tells all of them are pacifying Charu, let us also say something to that effect. Tells Charu that Subbu came in her dream and requested Ila to take care of Charu's wedding. The rest of the clan are all irritated with Ila's words. Naachch stops her and takes Charu inside.

The next scene our amman makes a grand entry but with a lousy BGM. The family (familiesaa familyaa - EdhO oNNu) reaches the Gangadevi temple(and Gangadevi is under a tree no roof on her head, outside a temple compound) The poojari prays to Gangadevi to show a good path for the family is in pain. Rama, JC and Charu missing in the temple visit. Ayya prays to Gangadevi, informing Gangadevi that Subbu has gone missing and also petitions that Charu's marriage to take place without problems. The hosptial bed with unconscious Subbu.

Naachch wants Gangadevi to show her sister Subbu. Ganga's turn to petition Gangadevi, the first time she is going to ask something of Gangadevi (SK case-la once she did ask for something - right??) She will name her twins after Gangadevi (son-aa irundhaalum Gangadeviyaa - adakkodumaiyE) MA next asks Gangadevi where she hid their nadamaadum deivam Subbu (I am ROFLing so much... I almost fell off my chair. Subbu nadamaadum deivam-aa) MA further tells God Gangadevi to tell them if they have not done any nErththikadan. They will do it. Gangadevi with a coconut in her hand just looks on. Ila calls Gangamma (God-nga) and asks her to return Subbu safe. She wants this not only because she loves Subbu but also because otherwise her father's head will roll (with daughters like these who needs enemies 😆)Sara's petition says that his mother and chinnamma are his two eyes. He has turned blind in one eye after Subbu went missing. So please give me back my eyesight he prays. He also tells Gangadevi to turn detective - find out Subbu's hideout and get her back he completes. Vadivu finishes the application with her signature.

Rama serving Kula food with tears in her eyes. Kula gives his usual smirk (where did that guilty look go??) JC & MA look on. A tear from Rama's eyes fall in the sambar. Kula asks her if she put less salt in the sambar, why tearing in the sambar he asks. If you cry I will get up and walk away he warns. Rama wipes her tears, asks him to eat. MA scolds Kula. Kula not bothered, is happy and eats. Kula wants vadai & payasam (vadai naan update seyyara aduththa serial Chellameh- la malai sizela varudhu - anga konjam kai koraiyudhu - vaayaa) MA takes a spatula to hit him. JC, MA & Rama look at him surprised (and I am surprised at these fools' expression) JC starts fighting with Kula. Kula tells Rama that today Subbu has gone missing, one day Rama too would go missing. He washes his hands and leaves. Rama continues her kulathozhil - crying.

AKA waiting outside Charu's college. A thoughtful Charu comes out. AKA stops Charu . Says that Ganga visited them the earlier day and told of Subbu missing. Charu wanted to talk to AKA herself. She wants his help. AKA ready to do whatever he can. Charu wants AKA to postpone the wedding, because she is unable to do it.

Charu requesting AKA to put off the wedding. He too says that athai would be back for the wedding (ellaarum ennavO avanga aduththa oorukku pOi irukkapla solraanga - she has been missing you dumbos) But Charu asks what if? All of you keep repeating the same charaNam that amma would be back, no one seems to understand her point, will the wedding be stopped if her mother does not return by then. AKA undertakes "project postpone wedding" but do not be in haste he says. Then when will you announce for the postponement she asks. Athai might even come on the day of the wedding, so we shall wait. If she does not turn up, let us see what the two families decide, if their decision is to go ahead with the wedding, then AKA will stop the wedding for he too does not want to get married without his athai's presence. The wedding would then be postponed. (AKA's acting is not bad) He would wait for Charu. Charu appadiyE pull aruchchufied. (college vaasal-la no cattle -thank Gangadevi) She thanks AKA and says she too would wait for him. (AKA should give a full smile, only this half smile makes him look more AKA) She leaves and AKA looks on (ivan nallavanaa kettavanaa nu I have a sudden doubt)

Night time. Naachch comes out of her room, turns on the light in the next room and sits on the swing in the hall (indhamma hall swingla ukkaara why hall light pOdala) A very pensive Ganga measures her living room. Naachch thoughtful on the swing. Ganga gets a call from SP office, the police wants to talk to her. Has her mother been found she asks. He wants to discuss something regarding that. Ganga is expecting some good news from him, asks him to come over. RV enters the room when Ganga is talking to the police over the phone. Naachch calls Ganga's landline. She is worried about Subbu. Ganga tells Naachch not to worry, the police are coming over to her place regarding Subbu. Naachch too would wait for the call from Ganga. RV retires to his room and Ganga begins measuring the living room again.

The policemen come. RV too comes out. They have no news of Subbu. The have searched the whole big circle (maavattam) have asked the next district to search too. RV suspects if she could have been kidnapped. One inspector answers they have enquired from that angle too. No leads on that. The inspector asks Ganga if she suspects anyone. RV tells Ganga that he suspects Kula might have a hand in this. It is possible accepts Ganga. Wants the policemen to watch Kula's activities. They turn to leave, she calls them. Thinks, changes her mind and tells them that they can leave. Ganga climbs the stairs to her room.

Naachch's house. The telephone bell tolls. Ayya attends the phone. Ganga calls to say the policemen have no clue. Karthik & Ila arrive too. Naachch is before them. Ganga tells Ayya not to worry, they are still net spread searching. Only if Ayya is brave they too can be brave (aaga moththam oruththarum sondhamaa dhairiyamaa irukka maatteenga - in dependent) Ganga dangles a lollipop in front of ayya, if he is brave she would be able to find Subbu soon. Ayya believes Ganga & Gangadevi would find Subbu. Ayya conveys the message to a worried Naachch. Karthik asks Ila if Subbu is a small baby lost in the thiruvizhaa, won't the lady comeback on her own? Naachch asks why such scorpion bite when all of them are in pain. She also tells Ayya that it looks like Subbu has been kidnapped. Her brother Kula & Karthik are the suspects. Karthik asks his mother why this kolaveri. They have better work to do, if she does not like them, he will leave for Andhra. Ila asks what about her, she too would accompany him Karthik replies. Naachch wants Karthik to take his FIL too so that they would live in peace. Karthik goes back to his room. Ila goes to Naachch and asks if her father & husband look like professional kidnappers. Why suspect your own brother she chides her MIL. Ayya says the past of Kula makes him a suspect but Ila feels now he is not like before. She leaves for her room crying.

Ayya asks Naachch why this sudden doubt on Kula. Naachch was called by Kula one day to his house . He asked her a question which she least expected - if Subbu is the daughter of BL. Ayya asks if he has not forgotten the past. Naachch is not bothered about him remembering the past but why ask if Subbu is BL's daughter. Maybe Kula bumped onto BL some place. Ayya is confident that no one knows where BL is, maybe he is just on a wild goose chase. Anyways it is better to watch Kula in this Subbu's case, he also warns Naachch to be careful. The DSH(dhandam sidhdha hospital) is shown. A lady doctor comes rolling with the nurse, asks the nurse if any change in the patient. None at all replies the nurse - she is just like a stone put in the well. The doctor checks on Subbu. The nurse then asks the million dollar question - when will the patient open her eyes.

The doctor does not have a million dollar, so does not answer the question. But asks who looks after the patient. No patient attender replies the nurse. One man saying he is the aNNan came and admitted her paying money. The doctor feels that she is a big place lady (periya idaththu amma) sad no one attending on her. The next time aNNan comes ask him to meet me, meanwhile if the lady shows any change call me she says. Both of them leave. The camera goes around Subbu's bed (cameramankku praarthanai pOla)

A kiLijosiyam man comes calling for Ila, who comes out and scolds him for shouting her name. Didn't Manga inform you that this is a secret mission. She takes him to one side of the house. He sets up the shop there. Calls panchavarnam to pick a card for Ila. Ila does not want cards picked - she wants the parakeet to answer her questions. Panchavarnam asks Ila like Shivaji Ganesan of ThiruviLayaadal - kELvigaLai nee kEtkiraayaa illai naan kEtkattumaa? Ila kokka makkaas like Koundamani. She would ask - and asks about Subbu athai who has gone amiss. Panchavarnam looks at Ila. Ila wonders why the parrot is quiet. Panchavarnam says "fees kattu" Ila asks the kiLijosiyam man if the parrot was a cashier in a school - asking her to pay the fees. The man caught the parrot from a school tree - so the parrot knows the happenings in a school. Ila doles out some money. Next the parrot asks for donation. Ila doles out some more money. Ila asks which direction is Subbu in. Panchavarnam answers "East". The next question why did she go there? She did not go there, but was kidnapped is the answer. Who kidnapped? It is a secret is panchavarnam's answer.

The kiLijosiyam man looks at Ila, she gives him money, asks him to go a few feet away. She wants to talk to Panchavarnam. He refuses to, Panchavarnam might fly away. Ila guarantees that she would take care. Panchavarnam too asks him to get out for he is already been bribed. Panchavarnam then tells Ila that Kula kidnapped Subbu. A shocked Ila

Kili keeps saying Kula.

Ila gets scared that Kili will outtufy secret and lets it fly.

kilikaran gets sad and she gives 1000 RS to him.

Ila tries to go inside and hears Kula name from Kili. she turns and sees Vadivu holding it. Vadivu asks why this Kili calls Kula name. Ila says appa brought this kili so say his name. kili says Poi Poi, ila is scared. Vadivu takes the kili inside saying she is going to bring it up.

Next Ila comes and complains to Ganga that Vadivu is taking care of a kil iand teaching itto say Kula who kidnapped Subbu. Ganga and her RV are mad and ask Ila why complainnu.

Meanwhile Vadivu comes they both start fighting neethan poi solra...

RV tell them to stop and Ganga asked what happened. Ila explains what happened. ganga says I don't trust Kili josiyam - but what ever who ever kidnapped I will punish them even if it is your dad. Ila is ok.

Next - Kula calls a alwyer and asks him to give him mun jameen. Ila comes and asks do you have any connection to Subbu kidnap? Ila asks if there is anything atlast can you tell me? Ila begs Kula to tell the truth. Kula clearly denies. ila says ok I accept.

ila is leaving and lawyer comes and pottufy the mun jameen matter. Ila asks Appa. She leaves doubtfully.

At ganga house...
SK gives milk to ganga telling you are not taking care of yourself since your mom left.Ganga tells her worries to him.

Rama house - Kula comes and calls for Rama, Muthu and JC.

Muthu questions him asking what you id to Subbu. Kula screams. Saying if anything happens you will only talk to me. I have no connection with that. Don't ever talk to me like that.

Rama loosu says he won't do it if he has done he won't come to my house for eating. Don't suspect him.

Kula gets mad, says I won't eat and I don't care if you suspect or not and leaves.

In DH (Danda Hospital)
Subbu is still in Koma - DR enquiring if she is ok. Nurses say no movement. One guy comes to he hosp and sees her and recognizes her. He tells them who Subbu is and runs to Ayya house to tell it. While running a car comes and crashes into him. The guy falls down.

Thursday - Brief Update

Starts with Jothi going into Ganga house. Accuses Ganga and her sister for proceeding with the wedding. She asks Ganga to stop the wedding or she would stop. Accuses Charu that she has otehr desires. Ganga gets mad saying she is a collector so controlling her otherwise would have slapped her. Karpagam and RV and and SK scold her and console Ganga.

The also show Kula going into the Sidha vaithiya salai (nothing else)

Next... (Mupperum Komaligal kootani...)
Ila, Manga lying and thinking what happened to Subbu. There comes Rasamma and tells about Jothi's talks and they decide to stop Jothi, teach hera lesson at any cost as she is causing too much trouble.

Night all 3 komalis stand in the dark covering in blanket hiding.Knowing Jothi will be walking that way.

While she is coming they cover her with a thuni and beat her up. Ila tells we are like Anniyan, where ever there are aniyayam then we will come there. Jothi says I will listen to you. Then they open the cloth and show their face. Ila threatens her don't interfere in Charu matter. Jothi says it is a good idea to cover and hit and she leaves. 3 komalis thinking why she said say and talk to themselves not to go alone anywhere and stay together.

At Ayya house .
All are worried same soga BGM. Natchiyar gives milk to Ayya saying you haven't eaten in a while. Ayya gives half of that to Nat saying you haven't eaten also.

Karthik comes and accuses Natchiyar you are the reason Subbu ran away. Instead you are accusing mama. He tells you are the one why subbu ran away as you took Charu to our house and Subbu got sad and ran away.
Natchiyar gets mad and hits him.
