I have been encountering some posts and comments being made on the forum and I just felt like i need to get this out there!

i think some or even many people are not over the MSK hangover! I am not blaming you or saying it is a bad thing, because HONESTLY my name is on top of the list. I am not over the MSK hangover.

Yes he has changed his look, but the second i heard Yash speak ...his voice immediately triggered MSK's image before my eyes.

Now i am totally obsessed with Guru and he was Maan Singh Khurana for me and always will be. And i know many of us feels the same way i do. It's just that we are not over it yet...I mean it's only been a week and its going to take some more time for us to adjust. Some may be more time and some may be less.

He can't change his voice people! It's not Guru's problem...it's us.

We were so attached to his angry young man Character. We were so attached to his Dusht Danav ways that we just can't help it.

Some people even see his angry young ways as Yash, but again they make look similar when in reality they are not! Yash is lonely, pensive, and just STUCK! While Maan Singh Khurana was cold, broken, and angry.

Yes Yash did have an angry outburst at the servant, but can you blame him? RIght now all he has is his daughters...so they mean the world to him. No father would tolerate someone, especially a servant to threaten to hit their kids!!!

Basically the point i am trying to make before we point the finger that GC changed his look but he should of changed his acting or voice...let's be realistic here...IT's not GC fault...it's US!

WE are not over the MSK hangover. So give yourself time and just try to appreciate GC's phenomenal acting and new shade of a character. Personally his character is growing on me. On Tuesday i did imagine MSK a lot but then on Friday not so much as i did on tuesday. I am seeing him a little more as Yash...

I am getting there and i know you will too. So lets be patient and give ourselves some time. MSK will always rule our heart, but we will come to love Yash as well. It's GC we are talking about after all😳. If he can weave into our hearts as MSK, he will do it again as Yash! Hope i made sense 😆

Rightly said dear.

I think its the right time we should stop responding to any such post which says he is copying MSK as Yash...Then the talk will die down itelf with time.

People r taking time to absorb Yash. in their mind. we should totaly ignore this topic n make it a point not to clarify anything.

We all lov him ...hardly matters he is performing yash, Mann Ram...or anyother name.

GC is a phenomenal actor, he did magic as MSK & no ne can't forget his MSK character...but now am loving his Yash character too & he is doing an awesome here too!!!
i love GC as he is, loved him as MSK & now loving him as Yash!!!
GC can't change his voice so u are right it's our fault not GC!!

It's GC we are talking about...he will grow his way inside our hearts as Yash whether we want him to or not...You just don't have that control when it comes to GC...he has that jadoo on us girls that make us go crazy for him 😳

true... a lot of people who are active in this forum presently are geet fans... people who are used to gurmeet as msk and can't get that image out of their heads... some even resenting him for apparently 'forgetting' that he's the great msk and daring to do a different show soon after geet ended... in the long run those who like the show will stick around to watch it... and those who are watching it merely to find faults will move on because seriously how long can u watch a show just to find faults?! and there will be some who'll not even watch the show but will still give their expert comments... it's better to ignore people who are purposely trying to cause trouble... if it's genuine criticism i'm sure gurmeet will get to hear of it and he will work towards improving himself... he's always done that...

at the end of the day msk and yash are two very different characters... but they are being played by the same actor... the comment someone made about the voice being the same was quite silly really... how in the world is the guy supposed to change his voice?

Like i said...there is such a deep obsession and attachment to the MSK character that people can't seem to realize anything else! Their love is blind! There little world resolves around the Great Maan singh Khurana. So i can understand to some point why they may resent him...but they need to realize that he is an actor and can't play one role and one character for the rest of his life. I feel like maybe if 6 months later GC did a new show then it would have been easier on such fans...as they were still hurt that their beloved show came to an end not because it was not popular anymore but because of the channel.

Yes eventually the loyal fans will stick around. You can't expect the actor to change his voice. Kind of ridiculous...maybe we just need to give ourselves time and accept Yash. Which will happen because it is GC we are talking about. If he weaved his way into ur heart as MSK he will do it again with Yash!
