CHAPTER - 11
Maan was happy finally happy he made the decision that he will bring geet and sid in his life and now he ll make his move towards it ... Maan knew geet would be on her way to pick sid from school and so he decided to go there ... Sid's school was to close for vacation and now he ll get more time to spend with them ... still armaan and ridz staying there would not be in his favour as he might not get to spnd more time with geet and sid but still he will try to get her attention ...
Maan went to sid's school and saw geet waiting there ... he went near her and tapped her shoulder ... geet turned to see maan and was surprised o see him there ...
" oh wow ... good to see u ... how come u here " she asked
" trying my luck on some young teachers " maan said
" i m afraid all teachers here are quiet old ..." she said laughing
" oh poor me ... no probs will try somewhere else " he said
Geet hit his arm playfully ... by that time sid came running and hugged maan ... maan lifted him and kissed his cheeks ...
" how was ur classes ? " asked maan
" not good " said sid making a cry baby face
" awww why by baby is sad ? " asked maan
" did u again fight with anyone ? " asked geet
" no mom good boys don't fight " said sid
" but i know how naughty u r " said geet
" but mom ... "
" sid i know this ur other trick to get that some toys but this time i m not listening to u " she said " now u both sit in the car " she said looking at maan and sid before going towards the car
" but i m really sad " said sid
" i know champ ... i can see worry lines on ur forehead " said maan
" mom is rude " they both said in union
As usual maan and sid took the passenger seat near geet ...Geet wanted to go to house but maan insisted to go to park as sid wasn't feeling good ...
After reaching the park sid wasn't interested in playing as he was upset ... They sat in one of the benches there...
" now wats bothering u sweetu ? " asked maan
" u know my frd ashish is going to visit his grandparents this vacation ... but i don't have grandparents ... " sid said and his eyes was filled with tears ... he hugged maan
Maan looked at geet whose eyes was also moistened ... Maan was confused as far as he remember Geet's mom stayd with her ... But first maan decided to console his small kid before he takes care of his grown up kid ...
" but u do have a grandma " said maan
Sid looked at him confusd... maan took his mobile and showed sid daadi's photo ...
" is tis my grandma ? " asked sid
" tis is my grandma " said maan
" then how will she be my grandma ? " asked sid making his cutest confused face
" my grandma is ur great grandma... u can call her daadi as well " said maan
" really ! "
" of course "
" can i meet her ? " asked sid
" umm of course i ll take u tp delhi soon " said maan
Sid immediately hugged maan and kissed his cheeks ...
" thank u " said sid
" now do u want to play ? " asked maan
" yes " said sid
" ohk ... but don't go far away from my sight " maan said kissing his cheeks
Once sid went maan turned to other side ... but geet wasn't there ... he saw her standing near a tree watching the sky ... He stood near her not speaking or asking anything ...
" mom died 2 years ago due to stroke " she was the first one to break the silence
" i m sorry " said maan
" sid was very small and probably he doesn't remeber her but mom loved him very much ... during her last few days it was like her whole world was sid " said geet few drops of tears escaped her eyes ...
Maan didn't know what to say ... this was the first time he saw her crying ... his heart pained to see her cry but he didn't know how to console her ...
" i miss her a lot maan ... why it always that god takes away from me everyone i like ? " she said controlling her tears
Maan took her hand in his and made her face him ...
" geet just think once if ur mom will be happy to see u cry and break down ..." he said wiping her tears with his thumb ...
" god is so slfish he takes all good people to him and make us suffer here ... but we shd be strong "
" i know maan ... i m lucky enough to have many caring people around me but still thoughts of my mom worries me " she said rubbing her eyes with back of her palm ...
" now be a gud gal and stop crying or else if sid sees u like this he 'll tease u and i ll not support u " maan said
" yeah u both form a team and leave me alone " geet said smiling
" umm ... yeah strong and intellingent form one team " said maan with a chukle
" whatever " said geet geet and rolled her eyes ...
They both sat in the same bench where they were seated before and watching sid play ... all this time theirs fingers were entwined but no one bothered to break it ... it felt so much natural and it didn't felt strange or wrong to them ... they realized that only when maan bend down to lift sid when he came back tired after playing ...
Later they three reached geet's house ...
" maan why don't u join for lunch ? " asked geet
" i would love to geetu but i have impt lunch meeting " said maan
" but ..."
" sry yaar i really have to go " said maan
" ohk... then ur coming tmr for new year party right " asked geet
" umm... Rohan invited me ... " said maan
" so meet u there then " said geet
" so champ u ll be coming there ? " asked maan
" mom doen't want to take me " said sid
" why ? " asked maan
" i don't want him to be awake till late night and moreover the noise and all " said geet
" oh come on geetu he ll defo enjoy ... its more descent one and everyone will be there with family so he ll enjoy " said maan
" but maan ?" geet
" sid will be my responsibility " said maan
" ohk fine " said geet
" ohk fine sweeties bye " said maan before driving away ...

sorry i couldn't update in the after noon coz of powercut issues
P.S . my exams starts tmr and ends on march 7 ... but i have already typed one chapter in advance so i ll post that probably friday if i m free ...
