Kite Flying in Delhi is during the mellow months. Predominantly 15th August Independence Day.

Delhi is extreme climate wise, hot summers and cold winters and that too in temperate style. Unlike the tropical climate of India from MP and down south towards Indian Ocean. Delhi Summer starts in May and peaks in July unlike Hyderabad which starts in March and peaks in May.

It is a pass-time for kids and teens during their vacation.

In January, around Makar-Sankkranti it's too cold to be out to fly the kites, even in afternoon.😆

But the spring has its cold cutting winds that people don't want to be out for long and the around good spring time, exams start for kids and beginning of summer, new year starts in schools and then hot summer culminating in moonsoon lashes with all the Neem trees uprooted and fallen on pavements in July and August... 😆
