Finally we got to see Raj take control of the Chopra household. The way he portrayed his pain and betrayal through his anger was worth watching. I surely did not expect him to go to the extent of Veena not surviving without the wedding. However he was right for him marriage is for 7 lives unlike SiNal. I wished Kunal would have been here to hear all this and realize his mistake. Siddhi as usual is muted and balling without even trying to stop her FIL. Raj was right he is not that old that he could not understand them and help them to sort things out. He was even able to identify the day that they fooled him when they went to file for their divorce.
I thought that Siddhi would just cry and the scene would be over with everyone just upset but whoa what happened. From where did Siddhi suddenly decide to open her mouth? Really liked the father –daughter moment. The way Raj took control and instead of yelling anymore decided to make sure that the divorce did not happen. Today it was Raj all the way and he really portrayed why we need parents to help and guide us every day of our lives.
I thought Richa was insensitive to some extent of her dad's neck when she said that it will become alrite. She should have sympathize because Thakral had badly damaged it and it was just better . But as ususal she was more selfish on maintaining the win in the case and causing damage to Kunal. You would think that her love for Kunal and the knowledge of the divorce would have soften her need to get revenge but nah she seems more determined.
Thakral you really are good at putting 2 and 2 together to get four. If only Siddhi could do such simple maths then such a situation could have been avoided. Thakral played on his years of experience and hence he was able to forsee what it took to get Kunal to step down. He played his cards well as he feared Kunal did have a chance and now it really was his time to shine as he did what he set out to do. Without being malignant but just speaking the facts he was able to remove the hurdle called Kunal .Way to go Thakral. Unlike Richa you have played it fair here and you surely deserve the credit for doing an outstanding job
Why is that we do not get any flashback of the consummation. Why did Kunal not link it to Siddhi being upset with him that night was due to the fact that she saw something? The way she packed her bags and the turn of events leading to their consummation.. They keep showing everything but these important scenes from that night.
I am glad that Raj did not listen to Siddhi and stay quiet. Again he took control and did not let Kunal just slide to his room but put him in the hot seat . He stepped in and showed everyone that although he tends to not interfere there are times he does need to . That he is still the head of the household and that he will not settle down for anything less than the truth and answers to his questions. The confrontration between father and son was the best scene. The anger and question from the father to the frustration and ache of the son was very well portrayed. Samir did a good job in delivering these lines as you really felt the anguish of a person who has failed on all counts.
How will your relationship or Kunal win Siddhi ? Does that mean from now youa re going to communicate with Kunal. I know that Siddhi;s lying down where Kunal means now she is going to take the reins but I hope they don't show a drastic change in her as then that to me would still fall under her flip flop category.
On the recap I have a feeling it might not be the divorce that KApil was talking about but the rape case. It always happens when they show misleading dialogues .
