I think the word "Mahaan" has been used very very loosely in this show. Its been in use for years now. Let's just assume Archana wanted to do everything she has done, for the sake of Mahaanta. But who is she showing her Mahaanta to - the likes of Savita, Rasika and company? They have never had any regard for her, whether it is Mahaanta or not.

Just think about it, why would she show them Mahaanta when its bringing her just sorrow and nothing else? I am all for Mahaanta, but not at the cost of separation from your own children for 18 years, divorcing your husband TWICE for another woman, when you are happily married to him, taking care of someone else's son (Sachin) and adopting a daughter (Purvi). ALL these acts of Mahaanta are COSTLY - its not a joke to take a girl from nowhere and raise it. Why don't some people try it for just couple days, and see how much fun it is?

Adoption is a noble deed and there are few people in the world who have the heart to do it. I know couple of friends, some noble folks who have done it in real life. It is a MAJOR responsibility for LIFE. Let's not make fun of that at least. Similarly, taking care of Sachin when he was a child and raising him was another good deed.

Guys, to look good in front of others and show Mahaanta is all great, but no one in their right mind, is going to kill themselves in trying to achieve that.

After reading some of the writings in this forum, I feel disgusted. It appears that there are folks here who believe that everything in life has to be reciprocal, and one can never do good out of the kindness of one's heart. Its okay to not to be skeptical all the time, and Trust folks once in a while.

It is possible that there are at least some folks in this world who do good deeds, and don't expect anything in return. It may be rare, but it isn't dead. At least I hope not.
