The taxi halts at the destination making Aarti wipe her tears and come back to present.
The MIL watches her wiping her tears and feels a bit sad.
Ansh wakes up from the sleep and says he is hungry and wants to eat puri so Aarti makes some puries and brings the plate for Ansh who as usual does not sit in one place but runs around the house making Aarti run after him with the plate.
MIL comes there after a change of cloths and makes Aarti go for the change taking the charge of the food for Ansh.
The scenario at the wedding venu pushed Aarti in the past... a simple act of combing the hair reminded her how her ex-husband used to love her hair open... Oh what a painful memories.. as now it seems that all those words were not sincere and that makes it more hurtful. But some how wiping her tears makes her wipe her past temporarily.. but it is still there like a permanent wound in her heart.
I loved talk between Shobha and Aarti.
Shobha truly realizes a need of a father in a child's life but also with the Aarti's point of view a man has given her only pain and she simply cannot go through that again..
Upstairs she attends to her son and puts him to sleep she also sits there during the power outage to fan him least he may wake up but then the letter by the bedside makes her realizes that her son needs his father for certain things.. and the effort she was making to provide the love of a father was illusive and she is living a lie
On the other hand series of events were shown in Yash's life..
His family wanted him to go ahead in the life and remarry but his heart is steadfast on his wife who passed away three years back. The memory and pain is so raw in his heart that the thought itself makes it unberable and he does not like to listen to what all have to say.
His two little daughters fighting and he comes to pacify them...He tries to comb Payal's hair but the knotted hair needed to be done differently which he did not know.. the bhabhi offers to help and mom makes her point that the daughters need a mother.
The bhabhi takes the daughters in the kitchen and puts them on the tabletop ... now who in the world would put two energetic kids on the table unattended???
Well bhabhi needed to walk away in haste to get something for her own kid so she forgot about the girls on the talbetop!!! and the servant was not happy with two cribbing girls and threatens to slap them if they do not shut up. Yash who was passing by witnessed this and was extremely upset and outraged. He scolds the servant and also was upset with bhabhi and mother for not attending to his daughters. The manner he talked with his palm joined clearly shows his hurt that his daughters were not given priority as all were busy.
Mother and bhabhi were proving their points that he needs a wife to take care of his daughters.
I am not sure who is the other lady standing near the door but I think that is the sister and I did not like her attitude working as a matchstick near the bundle of hay..
OMG the performance of Gurmeet was awesome putting the girls to sleep and talking with Arpita's pictures...
Yash was so distraught with the thought of his unattended daughters and any other woman in his life that tears wee brimming in his eyes. The way he was talking from one picture to another with tears trickling from his eyes.. was so painful to watch.. Yash has a shrine in the corner of his bedroom where he went and talk with the pictures of his dead wife.
Gurmeet did an excellent job in brining out those emotions in Yash..
The anger and hurt at the treatment of his daughters by the kitchen help
The pain and anguish at the possibilities of remarriage and how can he betray the memories of his beloved wife???
Over all very emotional episode. A helpless need of a son for a father and helpless need of a mother for the daughters.. Two individual fallen in the situation which will compel them to take the step for the sake of their children for "Punervivah".. The stage is set for the Punervivah... Now the search for the suitable man for a woman and viseversa will began..
Gurmeet was excellent in the emotional scenes and so was Kritika with all the co-stars contributing at the same level...
