true, there really isn't someone as a "loved" leader..well not in the softy way that is. From the examples shown of military leaders, teachers, movies even, i get that now. I guess its more of respect. you will respect your leader if they have the ability to lead as a leader should, like someone had mentioned in their comment.
But i guess some have to resort to instilling fear in their people to make it easier but in the end as long as the fear method works does it matter if the people respect the leader or not? Should a leader care if he's respected or not? because surely respect in a leader will only make following commands easier just as or more effectively than fear?
