review for satday's episode acc to me -
1. Pradeep - His act was fine,good use of hi strength..some nice moments,but less dancing
2. Sneha G- good,but not great...she tried to do smthng she hasnt done before,that was nice..but much lower than other contemp acts v hav seen in DID...i liked the ending .goin into the suitcase...😊
3. Sanam - I really like this guy...but,seriously ..today was not good at all...I am not attacking the versatility issue...but ..his music was much faster than his steps..it was very awkward to watch. But I guess the choreography is more to blame. and BTW,sharp of geeta to catch the lip-sync thng..poor dude was embarrased😉
4. Piyali- First classical act in this season...evrybody praised her...she did well...but,her arm movements were weak and hurried n totally lacked clarity. The strength and poise of the arms which goes with classical was missing.
5. Neerav- was confused for few seconds at the starting,since they showed lyrical contemporary when he was clearly doing lyrical hip-hop. What he did was fine..more tricks and acting than dance...but,then again he is gud at the acting,so cant really blame the choreographer for including it. we shud wait to see more of him to decide how good he is.
6. Paul -when he began n i saw he is attempting his forte,i thought its goin to be the same old stuff..but I really liked it! It was refreshing ...the tutting was good...all in all,thumbs up!😊 Liked the ending,again...
7. Mohena - I had found Mohena was promising in the start,but lately she had been dissapointing..But today,a simple,nice and technically sound performance. really liked the first half of the act.
8. Raghav - His control over his movements never ceases to amaze me...but as much as I love and enjoy and adore what he does...i would luv to see him try something different..n I hope he's good at other things too,I really do.
P.S : I really love the impromptu stuff he does. The 'loose motion' thng wid Jay last week and the rose thing today...gr8 impromptu 😊
9. Abhik - Very touching,nice act 😊...he performed with a maturity which is rare in a 17-year old. ( I still candt believe he is just 17 😲)
10. Vaibhav - Very commendable act. Good dance...i love the concept and what it reminds us of...that here are still so many police officers that are selfless ...plus whatever terence and geeta said. Vaibhav is one of the strongest dancers this season. Thumbs up!😊
11. Rajashmita - for someone who is not classically trained, a very good attempt. Powerful moves. 😊
12. Urvashi - seriously?If dancing means adorning the various parts of your prop,then she definitely danced. On a second thought, if she had danced, it could have been worse 😕..but what really surprised me is what sowmya and geeta said about her.
Sowmya - Jo Thaanti hain,woh kar dikhati hain ( though she is paid to say whatever they make her say)
Geeta - urvashi jab bhi aati hain,kuch acha hi karti hain 😕...is she hallucinating?
13. Varun - POWER POWER POWER. so much power in his dance,power in the way his emotes. great act,i liked it. 😊 a pleasure to watch.
P.S : sorry for such a long act. will try to keep it shorter from next time.
