nice observation but in HUM APKE DIL MAIN REHTE HAIN kajol knows about that deal and no 1 blackmailed her infact she choose it for her family ..anil kapoor never forced her for that marriage.kajol did that to get some money for her family and in this case ASR blackmailed khushi in that movie anil's father knew abt that contract and anil was nt in love with the kajol in IPKKND no 1 knows abt the reason and ASR and khushi r in lov though they never confessed it but still Love is there

yes i thought that when i hear the word contract marriage..there is a hndi remake of this movie..but i except for the contract marriage the situiations are totally different..ARHI didnt sign a contract but in the movie they will have a contract paper..in the movie the leads weren't in love...but here totally different...the heroine wasn't forced in that movie ...the situations are totally different ...

That mvie is in all south indian language. There the hero was a tomboy who didn't knew the meaning of marriage and didn't knew the value of a woman and also she was a stranger to him. When his father forced him to marry, he posed a conract marriage and had clearly indicated that if he likes her as a wife even after that one year, they will continue as wife-hubby otherwise they will part and they had even signe dthe divorce papers on that day itself. Despite knowing all these things, she married because, she wanted to settle her sisters marriage. Here ASR knows the value of marriage and how much it matters to Khushi. Since he knows that only he manupulated her to get into marriage. he knew taht Payal is her weakness as Anjali is his. So both of them took this extream step to save their respective sisters life, though Khushi doesn't realize his part of the bargain at the moment.

So both movie & this show) will go in different ways. On the movie it was fun for him & here it is his majbori. He never dreampt of blackmailing her if it is not related to his sister.

Don't worry, i don't think it will go to the extent of pregnancy as ASR is a man of principles and however mad he may be at Shyam & Khushi, he will not think of using Khushi.

ya...its more like priyamanavalaee movie... on top of everything...I cud not stop myself comparing the twist and turns with ramanichandran novels..

I think it was originally a hindi movie. HUM AAPKE DIL MEIN REHTE HAI was released in 1999 while the Tamil version was released a year later.
Anyways, I don't think there are that many similarities other than the agreement that the marriage will only last for a while.
1.)Khushi and Arnav are in love, despite their differences now.
2.)Arnav is doing this to save his sister, which isn't like as it is in the movie where Vijay gets married for the sake of his dad.
3.)Arnav is much more serious and understands the feeling of love, he is in love with Khushi.
4.)The movie has no Shyaam.
