The way he is holding her so close, that was the evidence how much he wanted to see her well being. Later staying outside the window was showing his side of feeling pain when Buaji cleans her wound.

Well, I think the way these two held us together was the writing in the beginning, then the unanimous efforts by all actors and their parts.You can't run the show on one or two actors without a good storyline.

Absolutely, the writing and the storyline was the one big reason we can stick to any show as a viewer, not because of actors. Sometimes that doesn't work and we have seen this already.
