The special day passed away to bring in a new day into Gopi & Ahem's life. She served him as the family sat down for breakfast. As the breakfast was done, Ahem got up saying it was time for them to leave for work. In the past, Ahem ensured he always informed & wished his mom before leaving to work. Today though initially he did not personally tell Gopi that he was leaving for work, he announced it at the table & ensured she knew about it ! As he was announcing he kept looking left & right to inform both the women in his life especially Gopi !!
As he picked up his cell & was about to leave, he heard Gopi calling him. He turned around with expectations & asked her what it was ! ...what did he expect from her? Did he expect her to wish him when he was leaving for work... Did he expect her to tell him that she will miss him when he is at work & with a shy smile on her face ask him to comeback home early !!! He tried searching her face for any hint she would give him about missing him & asking him to comeback early !! But as he could not find any such emotions on her face & she just reminding him if he had taken the blue file, it disappoined him !!!
Even if she did not ask him, one look at her face, his heart yearned for her & he knew that it was only her that his heart needed after a hard day's work. He told her to expect him back home around 6:30 PM. In the past the 1st time Ahem wished Gopi before leaving to work was when nani was around & he did so that nani would not doubt their relationship...as time passed by & as he got comfortable with Gopi, there have been times when they were alone, he just wished her before leaving for work. Today he did not wish her but told her the time when to expect him back home. He is looking into the future when he would comeback from work & she would just be there for him !!! This means that he longs to comeback home to be with her & that he misses her when he is at work & wants & needs her to take care of him when he is back !!! He wants her to hold on to this thought of him coming back & did he want her to think about him till he comes back ...did he want her to wind up her work before he reaches home so that they have some special time just for themselves !!! Does his heart feel at home when he is with her !!!He saw her face lit up with her smile at the information he had just given her & it pleased him that she was happy that he would comeback home to her !!! Did it give him strength to get thru the day with the anticipation of meeting her in the evening !!!
Ahem telling her to expect him back home at 6:30 bought immense happiness to Gopi !! Did it give her happiness that he now just did not comeback home but he is happy that he is coming back to her after a day's work !!! Does she finally feel at home now when he also just wants to be with her ! For Gopi all her dreams of a loving & caring husband are finally coming true !!! Did it give her strength to get thru the day with the anticipation of meeting him in the evening !!!
Will he be able to keep the promise he made to her?? Will she be there to greet him & take away all his worries of the day & make his heart feel at home ???
Caught up with friends & dinner ...hence the delayed post !!!
