I agree fully with Vijayam that the CT have created genuine characters. Instead of making TT super role models, they have shown some faults in them which is very close to reality. That is what makes it interesting. We all sat CT has damaged Ta character, but it is perfectly Ok to do that . In real life this really happens . People change with circumstances. I like the way T is acting stubborn. That is also reality of an intelligent self respecting woman. When judging a person his past can be remembered for some allowance, but present is very important. Based on what happens today where Ta is not even remorseful for his deeds. T is very smart in judging him and herself.
@annajay, I am not saying it is impossible for them, but it should not be too easy for Ta. They both must have some time of separation to reflect on what they did and what went wrong. When they unite after this it will be great. If T wants it this way that is the way it should be. If T after seeing Ta readily forgives and goes back, it is her decision. May be she can clarify a few things. It should be her call.
@shubba, regarding his social service, he tried to rescue T for his friend Anand. T never wanted him to rescue her from Vel. She was leaving it to fate. Even after kidnap, she wanted to rush to the marriage hall so that her friends and family were not harmed by Vel. The minute her father said she does not have to marry Vel, she defended herself by hitting him with the blessed Kutthivilakku vilakku.
But she was moved by Ta's act of admitting her in college and that became love. She was well within her rights to question their decision of getting married in a hurry. She made a choice at a very young immature age. One could realize they went wrong. At that time may be they did not understand themselves well.
