Abolish the character Gauri - Page 4

1. gauri, as a character, has been deliberately distorted by the people responsible for the show's contents. she is now appearing as a shrill, hysterical, shrewish, screeching monster. it's part of the unfortunate trends in soaps, where out-and-out negative, unrealistic characters are used to create drama. sadly, negativity sells.😡

2. the blackening of gauri's character is also an obvious strategy to whitewash jagya's image. actually, this is totally unfair because jagya is a much, much bigger culprit than gauri. but here she is being made into a convenient scapegoat to deflect the anger from jagat.😡

3. gauri's wickedness serves to glorify anandi further; but this is again unnecessary because a character can shine by its own merit rather than by contrast with another.👎🏼

in short, gauri's horrid behaviour serves no good purpose. in my view it's the nexus of writers, producers, directors, channel executives and sponsors who are responsible for peddling such stuff. sadly, there appears to be little we can do as viewers except stop watching a particular show that displeases us. of course, we can also vent our feelings on india-forums.😊😊
