After toppling Katrina from the top spot of India's Most Desirable list Kareena is now poised to give her a tough competition for a new movie in the block.

Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor have finally found a script that they both like and be a part of it together. This will be called their first film together.

The film yet to be titled and is supposed to be a romantic story with a twist.

But the confirmation is that both want to bring onboard either Katrina Kaif or Kareena Kapoor. Given a chance one of them will be the leading lady.

We all know that these two ladies will want to grab it on first instance considering the success rate Karan and Ekta had on their individual ventures.

Now who is more likely to be the front runner? Kareena is a very good friend of Karan Johar and she has been associated with almost every movie out of Dharma productions. So it is likely that Karan might ask her to be the part of this one as well. But this time Karan is not alone, he has to work along Ekta. Karan will keep aside personal agenda and do whatever is good for the movie.

On the other hand Katrina has been in news more for her item numbers than her films.

At this point is seems the balance is tilted towards Kareena.

As soon as they decide upon the female actor, they will begin the hunt of a male counterpart.

The entire cast will be finalised by next month and if everything falls in place, the shooting will begin post June.

Daily Bhaskar reported, debutant director Akshay Roy has been zeroed in for the film.

Karan and Ekta have had a successful career in recent past individually, so, it will be interesting to see how they work wonders together at the box-office.

^^^Always trust KJo to run after which ever actress/actor is 'in' though he might have never contributed to that actor/actress gaining that status.
