Simar went to touch Roli's feet bcoz of Mataji. Simar did not intend to touch them as all the time she kept looking at Roli's face expecting to be told NO.

If Simar thought it was wrong she shud have refused to touch them, why pretend to do something u don't want to in the first place ? Why show that u r willing to stoop low and make Roli take the decision to stop her ?

Roli did not ask Simar to touch. Simar was told to do so and Simar was obedient. If Roli had not allowed wudn't that be disobedient ?

Hence - my take is -Roli was equally obeying the seniors at that time.

There is a difference in Simar saying no and Roli saying no as they kept parampara in it.Also Roli once already denied it so everyone are expecting the same thing from roli again even sid and the guys expect the wicked minded m and m,bhabis

As for the topic thread - I don't think Simar is "UNFAIR" really, it mostly seems like Simar has a very skewed sense of right n wrong.

Everything sasural people do is acceptable to S - right or wrong.

Everything Roli does, Simar judges as an elder sister.

Is that fair ?

And then, Simar pounces on Roli for every perceived mistake and does not even let her say her piece ! Sid/Prem's mother can yell at Roli for her mistakes - why does Simar have to jump in ?

Roli is trying hard to adjust in this house and deal with the devious bhabhis and the unending pujas and cooking for so many people and constant interference from MM's and with all that, she also has no support from her own sister !!

How sad is that ?

The double lunch and the shawl are finally Roli's declaration of freedom from her sister's approval. Roli so far was only trying to do things right n keeping Simar happy. But now - Roli has decided enuf is enuf and is not concerned about Simar's feelings at all. She is willing to treat Simar as just another member of this house - like any of the prank-playing bhabhis. Can u blame her ?

@sskfan- watched the episode again and thank god i did, otherwise you would have dumped Poor Rolls right under speed roller; you were I guess once again only looking at Simar not realizing how hurt Roli was and how dazed she was. All the time flashbacks of the letter, roli finding the letter in Simar's room, plus speaking to some one in the college were flashing through her mind...but I am not surprised that you did not notice that. @hooked is correct Simar was expecting Roli to stop her and she was really only pretending to touch Roli's feet; I have to ask is Simar really that dumb...that very morning Roli had asked Simar to stay away from her and very clearly told her not to have any expectaions from Roli as a sister. Roli is very clear and does what she says so why did Simar expect Roli to stop her? God!! Simar is such a drama queen...its disgusting. I am so glad Roli decided to treat her like a jethani would and stopped acting like Sim's assistant. This is truly the limit Simar went their expecting a hug after slapping & backstabbing Roli. Thank god! Roli acted like a human and not a saint.

come on upra u said u see spade as spade and how come you say simar touching rolis feet is unaware of roli and not all the time she is fine when simar touched her feet.If roli is unaware how come she raised the hand and you expect us roli is right by making simar touch her feet.Also let roli stand up for her I dont have any issues with that but disgracing or backstabbing simar and doing it is very wrong.whether it be cooking episode or shawl o episode.This is where roli stands.

@hooked simar is expected roli to stop or not but when any elder tried to touch youngers feet it is atleast a respect to say no.Roli doest have respect to anyone how can anyone can expect respect from her.Roli is playing jethani drama queen roli by disgracing her everytime ..disgusting

The discussion seems to be interesting but dont go to an extent of fighting.Simar fans look for simar and Roli fans for roli and everyone are right in their own aspect.

I am standing by my statement; this is how I am viewing the situation. Watch the episode again and forget Sim this time, look at Roli and her emotions. I tried to watch the link you posted via Sim's perspective thats why I was like why is she thinking Roli will hug, is she that cut ff from reality. In your opinion Roli is disgraicing Simar and in mine Roli is reacting because she is extremely hurt and in a lot of pain...pain to which a large extent Sim is responsible for ( at leat circumstantially, thats how it has been potrayed to Roli that Sim is responsible) . As a Sim fan to you she is right and to me Roli is right because their is jusification behind Roli's behaviour. We can keep going back & forth but I dont think we will reacjph an agreement on this issue😊

1 thing beats me though is that Roli is mad about their dad findjng out & thinks that Sim taddled on Roli to their Dad but Sim knows she did not do it so why is Sim not calling up their dad to ask for clarification? Instead of running just behind the courier guy they can also ask Sim's dad...he is there is not running away😊
