Most of what you have all said covers what I think too but this TA takes the cake and eats it too. Except for one time where he looks at T with guilt (after Joseph confession), the rest of the time, it has been mostly in anger or an unrecognizable look. He kept so much from her - VR stabbing matter, loan sharks, etc but she has always been upfront with him. Even for exposing VR (via the killer), he blamed T. and you can't cover everything up in the name of love and one good deed (court scene) does not cover up all these faults of TA.
He hid the fact abt losing his bank job too.
And when his wife confessed all abt C, he did not even give her a benefit of doubt. He trusted C more than her and this is unforgivable from a husband who considers his wife his life. Not for a single moment did he think his wife was right. Even while calling Joseph, he did so with sarcasm, more for exposing T as a liar than finding out the truth, since he had his blinders on thinking that C is beyond reproach.
And in the end, he says that C was the root of all problems and that he is pure. What crap! At least T is very honest in attempting to take a step back and finding her faults too. In fact, barring Padma, all others in T's house rooted for TA, but we have the evil duo GW and Lav in TA's house, ably supported by TA himself in discrediting T.
And this uncouth behaviour of sending her away to her dad's house and then getting her to sign the divorce paper (so what if he comments that she values Cs truth more than living with him?) and not bothering abt her study dues, this shows TA in a very bad taste. And the comment abt getting tea - that was the highlight of poor characterization.
And this Joseph - he was more apologetic to Kanagu and T than he was to TA. Ok, he wanted to prove C was bad but he conveniently refrained from mentioning his role and acts as though nothing happened and it was just by chance he found out abt C and continues in the same jest way he had moved earlier with TA. That is also very shallow.
And someone mentioned that TA may not do much to his mom and sis. True. Even knowing abt their greed (taking the 4 L money which he had to suffer for later), keeping TA and T separate by hiding jewels, pretending to lose it (which he came to know later) and all other parts played by GW (hiding Nithish's 4 L by buying Lav jewels), and finally the police station episode where GW refused to come out, threatening suicide (which Puvi informs TA abt), he will still support them only. No wonder they say blood is thicker than water. And not only their blood, their skin is also thick. So even after all these guilts and atrocious acts, all of them will join and refuse to accept their mistakes. orE kuttaiyil ooriya mattigaL (GW, Lav and TA). Oosi idam kuduthaa dhaana nool nuzhaiya mudiyum. IF TA hadn't been too trusting and blind by his C friendship, he would have seen the truth long ago. He was adamant abt believing C and mistrusting his wife. For that he should never be forgiven.
And enna dhaan friendnaalum or guided by guilt feelings towards C, he gave her too much leeway to wrap herself around him and allowed her athai bothai name calling. modhallayE, he shd have said how is my amma athai to you? And the way she intruded in their life, he gave her too much latitude and adhula konjam kooda he didn't give his wife when she pointed out the truth.
