OS: The Suhagan Puja and Shyam's truth.
The next morning.
Khushi: she wakes up first and remembers last night's incident but all she can remember is till the part when Arnav picked her up from the dance floor, she doesn't remembers anything after that.
Khushi: she tries to get up and then she sees Arnav sleeping beside her with his hand on her. She shouts. Aap!?!?!
Arnav: wakes up! Tum uthgayi?
Khushi: aap yahan kya kar rahe hai? Hum yahan kya kar rahe hai? Humara matlab hum dono yahan saath kya kar rahe hai? Hey devi mayiaan… ye sab kya ho raha hai?
Arnav: What the…? I told you tum sambhal nahi paogi khud ko, kya zaroorat thi itni peene ki?
Khushi: hum.. woh… kal raat humne kuch kiya kya? Humare beech kuch…..
Arnav: ab ye sab bhi mujhe hi batana padega? Ye pucho tumne kya nahi kiya?
Khushi: (almost in tears.) Hum to nashe main the, hosh main nahi the, par aap, aap to hosh main the na! hamesha toh hume akele chod kar chale jate hai, kal kyu nahi gaye?
Arnav: what the? Maine tumhe uthaya, aur tum mujhe thank you na keheke mujh pe gussa nikal rahi ho?
Khushi: starts crying and cant see into Arnav's eyes.
Arnav: Khushi, Khushi stop crying.. tum jaisa soch rahi ho waisa kuch nahi hua kal raat. Tum behosh ho gayi thi to main tumhe yahan letne main madat kar raha tha aur tum mere haath ke upar so gayi so I couldn't move aur I don't know meri kab aakh lag gayi.. Aisa kuch nahi hua..
Khushi: kya??????? Aap mazaak kar rahe the?
Arnav: mazak nahi kar raha tha.. main bas aise hi….
Khushi: pushes him back (just like the guest house scene) Aap samajhte kya hai apne aap ko, aisa mazak koi karta hai kya? Aapko pata hai hume kaisa lag raha tha? Khud par sharam aa rahi thi hume.. aur aap? Pushes him back again and walks off from there..
Arnav: Fumes with anger as to how could she behave so rudely with him!
They go back to RM and its night time. Arnav and Khushi are still angry at each other and not talking to each other.
Both the couples hand over the gift they have bought for all the family members.
Anjali: chaliye ab bahut raat ho chuki hai, aap sab bhi thak gaye hoge! Jaiye so jaiye. Aare haan, kal suhagaan puja hai, saari patni iss din apne pati ke lambi umar aur taraaki ke liye vrat rakhti hai aur raat ko puja karne ka baad pati ke haaton se ye vrat thodti hai. Khushi ji, Payal ji ye aap dono ka pehela vrat hai shaadi ke baad toh dhyaan rakhna, kuch kha mat lena.
Khushi and Payal: ji Anjali ji.
They head to their rooms.
Arnav: tumhe ye sab vrat puja karni ki koi zaroorat nahi hai.. main in sab cheezon main believe nahi karta.
Khushi: hume bhi koi shock nahi hai aap ke liye vrat rakhne ka, aur vaise bhi hum jyada der bhuke nahi reh sakte.
Arnav: jab koi aas paas na ho toh kuch kha lena.
The next morning.
All the suhagaan do a puja and start their vrat. Every time Khushi goes to eat anything someone or the other comes and she cant eat henceforth, eventually she gives up and ends up keeping the fast.
Its night time and all the suhagaan are to break their fasts. But Arnav hasn't arrived from office yet.
Anjali: ye chote bhi na, aaj bhi late kar rahe hai.
Khushi: Anjali ji, jiji, aap dono apni puja kar lijiye hum Arnav ji ka intezaar karte hai. Saying this she walks back to the room but only after giving a final glance to both Anjali and Payal who are breaking their fast with their respective husband's help.
Khushi: goes to the poolside sits on the chair and curses Arnav for being late as she is hungry.. she falls asleep on the chair.
Arnav: Around 12:00 comes back home and goes straight to his room. He cant find Khushi so he goes to the pool side. He sees Khushi wearing a pretty red saree and sleeping on the chair. Then he notices the puja thaali on the table right beside her and realizes that she has not eaten anything yet.
Arnav: Khushi, Khushi utho!
Khushi: wakes up. Aap? Itne jaldi aa gaye?
Arnav: maine tumse kaha tha vrat nahi rakhe ke liye.
Khushi: aapko achi tarah se pata hai ki har waqt koi na koi humare aas paas rehta hai, toh kaise hum kuch kha lete. Phir bhi itna late aaye..
Anjali: comes from behind. Aa gaye chote! Ye kya baat hui? Aaj tumhe pata than a ki Khushi ji tumhare liye vrat rakh rahi hai? Phir bhi itni late se aaye.. tumne ye thik nahi kiya, bechari Khushi ji puri din tumhare liye bhuki rahi aur tum ho ki… sach main chote pata nahi tum kab samjhoge!
Payal: (comes in with a plate in her hand) Arnav ji, aap kab aaye? Hume hari prakash ji ne bataya ki aap aa gaye. Khushi tumne vrat tod diya apna? Chaliye ab Arnav ji aap bhi kuch kha lijiye, subah se kuch nahi khaya aapne!
Anjali and Khushi shocked! They look at Arnav and feel bad for blasting him off!
Anjali: toh humare chote ne bhi apni Khushi ke liye vrat rakha hai.
Arnav: mujhe bukh nahi thi isiliye nahi khaya.. main kyu kisi ke liye koi vrat rakhu?
Anjali: chodo, ab chalo Khushi ji aap puja kar lijiye. Aap ka ye peheli baar hai na toh hum batate hai kya karna hai aap bas follow kijiye.
Khushi: follows whatever Anjali says.
Arnav: makes her drink water and breaks her fast.
Anjali and Payal then move out of the room leaving them alone.
Khushi: Arnav ji, aap bhi ab kha lijiye.
Arnav: mujhe bukh nahi hai. Saying that he goes changes his clothes and goes to bed.
Khushi: hum bhi na… pata nahi ye aadat kab jayegi.. bina puri baat jaane hi kuch bhi bakwaas kar dete hai, humne toh phir bhi paani pe hai par Arnav ji ne toh kuch bhi nahi liya ab tak. Hey devi mayiaan.. ab kya kare hum!
Khushi: (notices that Arnav is feeling dizzy and remembers the past incident) Arnav ji please kuch kha lijiye na. Humne sorry kaha na..
Arnav: (in semi-conscious state) kab kaha sorry?
Khushi: ummm… abhi toh kaha…
Khushi: she takes a morsel and feeds him.
Arnav: eats then asks her to eat also. So both eat from the same plate.
Its night and everyone is sleeping. Khushi on her couch and Arnav on the bed. On the other hand Shyam is very restless thinking what Arnav and Khushi might be doing, if they really have any relation. With that thought he suddenly gets up.
Anjali: kya hua? Aap aise achanak se kyu uth gaye?
Shyam: Rani sahiba, abhi hume kahi se chillane ki awaaz aayi, shayad saale sahib ke awaz thi, shayad unke aur Khushi ji ke beech jhagda hua, chaliye jakar dekhte hai. (he just wanted to see if they sleep together)
Anjali: pati patni ke beech chote mote jhagde hote rehte hai, hume beech main nahi bolna chahiye.
Shyam: aap toh saale sahib ka gussa janti hai na? iss se pehele ki baat bigad jaye, chaliye jakar dekhte hai.
Anjali: chaliye.
They knock the door.
Arnav: (wakes up) itni raat ko kaun ho sakta hai.. moves to open the door when he notices Khushi on the couch.
Arnav: Khushi utho, Khushi utho.
Khushi: in no mood to wake up. Doesn't even moves and sleeps full on.
Arnav: shouts. Khushi!
Khushi: kya hua? Kya hua?
Arnav: koi darwazze par hai!
Khushi: haan toh.
Arnav: jao bed me jake so jao.
Khushi: gets up.. rukiye hum dekhte hai kaun hai. She is wearing her night suit with no duppata. Opens the door.
Khushi: aap? Kya hua Anjali ji? Aap itni raat ko? (she is very uncomfortable as Shyam is giving her a dirty glare)
Arnav: learns that its Anjali and Shyam at the door. He takes a bit of sindoor and rubs it around his cheek. Then moves towards the door.
Arnav: (comes and stands in front of Khushi protecting her from Shyam's dirty galre.) Di aap? Kya hua? Kuch chaiye tha kya? (all the while rubbing his cheek so that Shyam notices it)
Shyam: notices his cheek then gets the point that they were sleeping together and romancing. He tightens his fist with that thought.
Anjali: also notices Arnav's cheek and Khushi without duppata and gets the point. Woh.. sorry humne iss waqt disturb kiya. Woh.. inhe na koi awaaz aayi isiliye hum check karne aa gaye.. sorry again and Good night..
Arnav: (before closing the door) pata nahi aaj kal jijaji kya kya sunte hai!?!
He closes the door and then Arnav and Khushi share an eye-lock. Both move towards their respective places and the image of Shyam getting pissed off imagining what they were doing makes them smile.
The next morning. Everyone is going to the temple. Arnav goes to office and Khushi stays back home as she has headache.
Half way through Shyam makes an excuse and comes back home and on the other hand, Arnav had a meeting which got cancelled so he is also coming back home.
In RM
Shyam: kal raat ko humne jo bhi dekha hume pasand nahi aaya Khushi ji. Aap sirf humari hai. Aur humare beech koi bhi nahi aa sakta.
Khushi: Humare beech? Shyam ji aapko kya lagta hai hum aapko chahte hai? Aare aap jaise insaan ko kabhi humne apna dost mana yehi soch se hume aaj bhi ghin aati hai..
Shyam: par hum toh aapko bahut pyaar karte hai.. aap humse pyaar kare na kare hume iss baat se koi farak nahi padta.
Khushi: tries to move away from there but Shyam catches her, pulls her dupatta off and forces himself on her.
Shyam: yaad hai Khushi ji lucknow main pehli baar humne hi aapki izzat bachaiye thi. Agar hum izzat bacha sakte hai toh use loot bhi sakte hai.
Arnav: who has listened to the whole conversation between them, after seeing Shyam hold Khushi and force her couldn't resist himself anymore. He just barges in and gives a punch to Shyam! And keeps beating him up until Khushi comes and asks him to stop!
Khushi: chodiye Arnav ji, kisi aur ke bare main na sahi Anjali ji ke bare main sochiye, unhe chod dijiye.
Arnav: nahi, aaj nahi Khushi! Aaj isne sari hade thod di.. uski himmat kaisi hui tumhe choone ki.. aaj main nahin chodne wala hu isse.
Shyam: hum kisi se nahin darte hai samjhe! Agar kisine koshish bhi kin a humare aur Khushi ji ke beech aane kit oh hum un sabka wohi haal karege jo humne Khushi ji ke babuji ka kiya hai.. (laughs evil-ly)
Khushi: (shocked) aap ne? aap…. Arnav ji, aaj kisi ke bare main mat sochiye.. mariye unhe..
Arnav: (also shocked) beats him up till he himself escapes and flees away from the sight.
Arnav: Khushi…
Khushi: she could not hold herself anymore, just holds Arnav tight and starts crying out loud like a kid.
Arnav: hugs her back tight and says Sorry!
Without their knowledge they fall in love with each other all over again but this time they trust each other more than themselves!
