Vinayaji I saw all the videos, all are awesome, but my favorite is Nihira-Parthiv Medley 2, i just loved it. Nihira is simply marvellous.

Vinayaji I hav downloaded all the videos from Youtube but am unable to play them as the DivX Player does not play them, neither does FLV player. Please guide me how to play them.

Both Nihira and Himani have their niche established. Himani sings from lower scale and rarely looses a sur. She is very good at that. While Nihira sings at higher sur and also NEVER looses her sur. The only problem I see is when both these singers sing together, it becomes a mismatch. It dependes who starts the song first. If Himani starts as she has done in Mast Kalander, Nihira will have problem and vice versa. During Ai mere vatan ke logo Himani faltered. She could not match Nihira's voice. She sounded very dull and flat to me. Nihira on the other hand was loosing the breath during Mast Kalander because of lower than her normal scale. Nihira definitely has a broader range and is lot more versatile than many singers. My comment to Vinayaji was in reference to her statement that some poeple on the club had negative comments about Himanis song posting. If Nihira can accept Himani then as Nihira's fans we should not have problem with her. That is all I am saying.

Amogh, did you change their extensions to *.flv? Yourtube videos are usually in .flv format, and you can play the files using either VideoLAN Player or FLV Player. BTW, download the videos from Vinaya ji's rapidshare links as I think they are of better quality though total size is > 300 MB.

Deepak i have VLC player n tried changing the extensions but to no avail.

300 MB😕, it wil take 15 hrs fr me download that as i m on a 64 kbps connection.

OK! I tried playing some of my old .flv files with VLC Player but they didn't work but they work perfectly with FLV Player. Download FLV Player from my post, it is a small ~1.5 MB file I think, that should do the trick. But I think that you should download rapidshare files but there a catch here, Rapidshare has this annoying policy of allowing only 1 download at a given time, and also they also have a silly limitation of downloads of bigger file sizes that mandates that you must have a gap of 1 hour between downloads (this is applicable only in the case of big downloads).

I too liked Nihira/Parthiv's medley most. It was simply amazing, un dono ki bandish (is that the word?) to gazab ki thi, gaane bhi bade achhe-achhe choose kiye they, dono hi classical mein parangat kalakaar, it was out of the world experience for me. And the sargam part in the end was astonishing.

"Aaj Jaane Ji Zid Na Karo" was also soul touching, maine pehle kabhi nahin suna thaa isliye aur achha laga.

Doesn't Nihira sing even fast-pacy songs so effertlessly, for example Dum Maro Dum/I Love You, it was hard to believe that she is siging them. I mean there was no visible effort on her part (she just stood there was rendered them) but her voice was so powerful.

I was nice to see her dance a bit in Dhadak-Dhadak.😃

I cant download from Rapidshare, i will have to keep my PC on whole day 😭😭

I will try using FLV Player.
