KOLKATA: Shah Rukh Khan has accepted West Bengal government's proposal to become brand ambassador of the state.

"Shahrukh Khan has become brand ambassador of West Bengal," Chief Minister Mamata Banerjeetold reporters here.

Secretariat soruces said that the 46-year-old actor had written a letter to the chief minister conveying his acceptance of the proposal.

"West Bengal is my second home," Khan said.

he should have been selected to promote delhi since he's hailing from there isn't it? but nevertheless it's nice to hear this news

he's more an ambassador for india for me... india = srk
