TB/TOI: Mohit Malik to enter

In a typical daily soap , all we need is drama and the right kind of drama ! That is the time-tested key to success .

Swastik Pictures ' Phulwa will see that in acouple of days when a character called Dr. Arjun Singh will enter the show. Arjun Singh's role will be played by actor Mohit Malik whom we have seen in shows like Milee, Dulhan, Nach Baliye 4 , Surya The Cop to name a few. Arjun's character is that of a rich neurosurgeon who has patients like the Prime M inister and other big shots in the society.

In the current track , Sargun Mehta a.k.a.Phulwa ' s husband Abhay (Ajay Chowdhury) is paralyzed and he is in the hospital. Phulwa will take her husband to the hospital where Dr.Arjun Singh will refuse to see him as he has to travelabroad to attend some meeting . But then the doting wife shows her aggression and put Dr. Arjun on the gun point and force s him to check her ailing husband.

Mohit Malik says, ""It's a fantastic role. I am thankful to Swastik for the role as the show is good and my role has ample scope for performance"".I ndrajit Mukherjee, creative director of Phulwa says, ""M ohit Malik as Dr. Arjun Singh...who will make abhay better but there is a past around him which nobody knows and which is enveloped in intrigue. Dr. Arjun will have a past and he will surely bring lot of drama and spice in the show"".
