Veteran actress Hina Khan is a well known face in the telly industry. Hina Khan has garnered wide appreciation for her role in the famous TV serial "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai". Hina plays the role of Akshara in the serial opposite actor Karan Mehra.

As far as Hina's personal life is concerned, she said that she never wanted to become an actor, she always had aimed to become a renowned journalist one day. But Hina ended up entering the telly industry and now her opinion about the telly industry has changed.

The actress said that after being a part of the glamorous telly industry, she now feels that acting is something which is truly meant for her. Her role in "Yeh Rishta" has garnered her huge appreciation and love from the viewers.

Hina plays the role of Akshara in the serial opposite actor Karan Mehra aka Naitik. The two have been sharing the screen space in the serial since a long time now and are appreciated for their fantastic on-screen chemistry.

Furthermore, Hina said that she expects her would be to be understanding, caring and should respect her for her work. Hina also said that she wants to try her hands in Bollywood as well and would love to do a film opposite Salman Khan.

as far as i know she wanted to be an hr generalist.may be the reporter misinterpreted and wrote journalist instead of generalist. she was pursuing mba when yr started. how can she become journalist without any course in mass communication. :-)lol
