ALI ASGAR who is been in the industry from more than a decade and has done many TV shows and films is telling about the TRP. CB is drawing 2.5 on its own, but still ZEE is not happy with it, whereas the other competitors of CB has so many promotions but are still not very ahead of CB.

Ali asgar mentioned that promotion is most imp. and even shows with Mr. Bachchan are promoted so his show is getting 0.4 TRP which is good w/o any promotion.

Very true. Shows need good promotion. Promotion helps to boost the product value atleast during the initial stages by arousing curiosity. In the recent days, CB2 had many high points which actually deserved Promos, but never got it. ZEE is busy promoting its new shows and all the promos we get are for new shows and DID!! Alas, none of the new shows are working for ZEE either...although they are claiming through articles that it is their new shows that are bringing them back to upswing and are rather dismissing the Good Old shows!! How stupid of them!

sia, most of the promotions goes to the new shows as it is a necessity for the channel makers to pull in audience for those shows but old shows also needs to be given a few promos atleast whenever there is a high point...

Zee is doing that with PR, along with videos I can also see some scrolls for PR and MKKPB promoting the upcoming high points of the show. YMGGK r getting promoted through SBS and SBB as almost everyday we see the lead pair of that show in the news and their twists r shown but CB is being devoid of all these ---- no video promos, no scrolls, no SBS or SBB news bite...

So that's really mean on ZEE's part...
