They reached the college together. Geet caught up with prachi & other friends. The day was super slow for love birds missing each other especially since they spent the whole day together last few weeks.
The way their eyes searched for each other in the parking lot.. like they were meeting after ages. Then a slight sigh..holding back the longing... he couldn't have enough of her.. but then he had to drop her to office. How he wish he could have her just for himself all the while.
Few days had passed with their college routine his tattoo was now healing. Geet noticed.. he was quite disturbed with the tattoo part.. his hand invariably went there..scratching. She hit the back of his hand.. puchki.. scratch nahi karo
he pouted cutely...
she made sweet concerned face.. bahut itching ho rahi hain
he nodded
she would get all more concerned & apply a moisturizer.. blowing it softly. The soft breeze...just intoxicating him... he could just close his eyes & feel himself floating.
She ran her fingers over the tattoo slowly, shiver run down his spine. She couldn't take her eyes away from the tattoo.. she so loved to see her name on his chest... her eyes twinkled in joy.. she longed to see it every now & then.. she couldn't openly ask him.. but she would drool over it in the pretext of putting cream.
Majnu was no less..he would intentionally scratch his chest around her to get to put the cream... & engulf him into her proximity.
This naughty laila-majnu continued their little unexpressed love without words with their morning gande phool ritual to driving her to college, work & back home. 4 months had passed. It was around nov. Geet got a call from rano for a wedding in mumbai. The whole of her family, close relatives & frds where to meet up in mumbai. Prachi & Geet were to join them directly in mumbai.
Prachi & Geet were super excited abt the whole trip. Especially prachi..it just happened that she got to travel alone with Geet. They both decided to go by train since it would be fun. The trip was scheduled during the last week of dec.
Geet met up with her puchki & told the whole plan in one breath...
For the longest time, Maan didn't answer as strange pain sliced through him. The only thing he had in his mind was she will be gone... he didn't know wat to tell her.. after seeing her so excited abt the whole thing.
When her happiness meant every thing why was he not able to smile or at least pretend to be ok.. he couldn't he just snapped ok. She didn't understand the reason for his anger. She pouted cutely. He ignored it all together. Next few days his behavior was impossible for Geet to understand. He got irritated at every small thing & would just walk out of the conversation suddenly making an irritated face.
Though Maan had a very busy schedule himself with his final year project & campus interview stuffs but he couldn't stop himself from sulking. He didn't know wat irritated him more, her going or that she was so excited that she didn't seem to think otherwise.
He avoided talking her calls
she got really irritated & snapped at him ' puchki why r u being so indifferent
he snapped back ' who is being in-different here
she bit back ' ur not answering my calls
he fought back in attitude ' dammit I am in my final year, I have projects, I have my assignments, have so many campus interviews to attend. I can't be running behind u all the time
she got really furious ' I didn't ask u run behind me
yah right ..its all my mistake he snapped
its mistake she looked at him sadly
he lost it completely.. yes ...yes yes.. yes.. its all my dam mistake.. main hi pagal ki tarah.. he didn't know wat to say any more.. he was just irritated abt her whole trip thing & he was not liking anything since then
ok.. bye then.. she turned to leave
he closed his eyes... feeling horrible to have realized wat he said. She will be gone tomorrow is heart sunk.
She tried not to cry as she walked out of the college...
she didn't understand quiet why he was being so in-different suddenly. Wat went wrong. Why should I care.. she almost cried... does he even understand how much it hurts when he says something like this. He always does like this.. humesha naak ke upper gussa

she snorted her nose..
main bhi nahi care karongi.. she said with her eyes with tears & empty arms wanting to reach out for him.
